      Thank you so much. It means so much to us to hear from Singaporeans that we showcased your country in a manner it deserves.

      We’re glad you enjoyed it. Almost as glad as having the experience to make it.

    Welcome to Singapore! Spotted my fellow illustrator friend, William, doing a watercolour sketch in your video, around the 11:04 mark!

    Perhaps a bold suggestion to visitors from the Lone Star state… but the 1-star Burnt Ends is a pretty good BBQ joint… 😜

    Very informative, you must have done some research. Was it your first visit to Singapore? Keen to see your cruise. I'm am cruising from Australia to Singapore next month. Very excited. I hope you see a bit of Australia. Was the MRT easy to navigate?

      Thanks. We were there for a day last year on our world cruise. The MRT is just like any other metro. Pretty easy to navigate. We paid with our iPhones. You just have to use a different card for each of you (if we remember right).

    Why do the authority keep renovating the bigger merlion?

    • @janandtraceytravels
      @janandtraceytravels  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We know we said renovating. It could also be a routine schedule of cleaning.

    Nice video. U guys had done your homework. Frankly, you can outperform our local guides. Chinatown has its name for the convenient for westerners if I understand correctly. The chinese name 牛车水, literally translated as bullock cart water. Chinatown got its name from a scene where many bullock carts were carrying water from house to house as there was no tap water then. I do hope tourism authority change Chinatown's name. In western world, it carries a different connotation. Instead of making easier for westerners, the name create some confusions. It is like having an American Town in the heart of NY City.

    Should move around SEA (South East Asia countries, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia & Vietnam before to Australia.
    All these countries are only 2 to 3 hour away and the cultures & scenic are very diverse and beautiful.
    Malaysia is only 1 hr flight. Can travel overland too.

      We’ve been to Thailand twice and last year visited Vietnam and Malaysia. As part of the trip of this video, we next went to Indonesia. We haven’t been to Laos and Cambodia-yet. We are planning on going to those two countries in 2026. Thanks for watching!
