CJ this is a really solid install vid, torque values, links and everything. Glad to see there is no obstruction by the sub frame as there was on certain B7 models, was wondering about that. Thanks a lot man, subbed as well.

Great video! However at 6:35 in the video, I think the bolt was installed in the wrong direction? Please correct me if I am wrong. You want the round bolt side to face the steering boot, not the nut. The upper pinch bolt came out easy like butter! Hope the same is the case for me, given I am also in California. Cheers!

Thanks! I'm glad my videos could be of help to others out there 👍 but yes, you are correct. That bolt was quite difficult to remove because of the steering rack boot haha. It was difficult to insert the bolt the correct way too. So I did a bunch of research and saw that alot of others have did it that way to so I decided to install that bolt that way to make life easier. So far not issues after putting about 3k miles.

your tie rods were fine? wondering if I should refresh those too while im doing the control arms. car has 107k. also... do your tires wear at all from the negative camber? it looks like your car is lowered.

Yes, they were fine, but I should have done them since I was doing all arms anyway. Oh well, I'll just wait until they go bad. Yes, my tires do wear a little faster and yes, my car is lowered and I do daily drive it about 70 miles a day.

@@cjscarcollection18 how many miles when you did this service? my last control arms only lasted 20k so they must not have torqued at ride height.
