I love these tips! Just keep in mind if you are going to be using the automatic white balance you should be in control of your lighting. If you use a window to light your scene and the sun goes behind a cloud your white balance will change as the lighting conditions change. Best of luck new TH-camrs!

I love your video's and how you break it down for beginners. One tip though: you might want to investigate your room acoustics. Maybe it's because I'm an audio engineer, but sometimes it's a bit tiring to listen to because of the room reflections and resonances. I don't think you need extra absorption material. I think you would benefit from sound diffusers. (on the ceiling and on some parts of the walls. If that would be too difficult, you can also get better results by applying subtractive eq to attenuate the resonant frequenties. And if you do both (diffusers + subtractive eq) you'll get even better results! Just a small respectful remark to help you nail the sound as well ;-) Thanks for your video's!

These are light, portable, small and rechargeable tube lights and best of all... they work very well! You can grab on of these, stick it on your dashboard and you are good to go 👌. Another thing Americans do is pronounce as much of the word as they can and throw the end away. So Debussy is 'Debut-See' rather than 'De-Bussy' and pronouncing things like other words they know like the composer Telemann (pron. Te-Le-Mun) who now repairs domestic video gear being the 'Telly-Man'. :o/

I have something I'd like to say... The mirror is better than the camera. The camera distorts my face and I look different on every camera and usually unattractive unless I got good lighting. I like taking mirror photos, I feel they are more accurate. Ok camera if you hold it at a certain angle plus the lighting isn't perfect certain parts of your face will look more larger and rounder than they should...

I got constructive criticism saying my videos are too shadowy and my opinion is because it's a raw video, I mean it's naturally what my life is. I am a small youtuber and I work on what I have as long as, no filter no drama just me and my editing skills 😄

Such practical advice! I'll use this in final cut! My favorite tip was to shoot a test shot BEFORE you start filming.

I wish this video had come out last week. I filmed my entire video with my floor fan going right next to my camera. If I had done a test shot, I would’ve known. Lesson learned!
