I own 3 fox body mustang a 87 gt 92 lx and a 93 vibrant red cobra and I will be completely honest foxes in the 80s and 90s were everywhere and the values are going up quickly and you guys did a great job and I think that car today can bring 15 to 20 grand today and why there just not many clean examples left.
Grand dad Got mine when I was 15 me and my dad got it out of a salvage yard in bayside queensin 5ft of grass , it started right up, theft recovery an engine Tran and a shell 40k miles no glass seats nothing, rebuilt it ,have had it for 24years now and my kids work on it with me now, when you do somthing like this the vehical is priceless , I have been offered great prices for mine offered trades for vets with cash, but it is priceless to me. great video that fox is a work of art
Nothing better than creating memories with ur son & father. That's what is so great with the car hobby anybody can get into it, and ur car turned out great, congratulations.
Those 5.0 were solid built cars , I'm learning alot from you tube about classic to mordern mustang's, great job young man ! That mustang looks amazing!
Cool! My dad had a 87 Foxbody gt when I was little. His dad helped him get it and I always wanted one. Now my dad and I are working on my 89 Foxbody gt. Here a little and there a little its coming together.
1980's and 1990's Fords were built really well back then. The F150's were the best ever made and look at the engines---300 straight 6, 302, 351, 460, etc. Any of those will do half a million miles.
Thank you all so very much for this video, that car is totally AWESOME!! I have a 93 L X and I love my baby and I love your baby too. This is to your son, always thank God for your parents and Grandfather for teaching you so many gifts, it will always stay with you in life. Be well and don't sell that baby.
I have one small memory with my grandfather when I was a little kid and with my father not so much . He has been gone since 2009 . I never really had the chance to truly grow a good strong bond with my father I tried but he didn't want to be bothered . Years later my grandfather began to disown me when his stepdaughters had sons I was still a little boy it hurt like hell . I taught myself how to do a lot of things with out them they never truly supported me with anything but I am still here by the grace of God I am still here and both of them are gone . I grew up to be a great man without them.
I am sure a car like this will go for 30k easily although priceless is much more accurate! Probably the cleanest Fox I have seen I am sure it’s that much better in person
Very nice restoration, that car is beautiful. I swapped a set of '95 Cobra rear disc brakes onto my '93 Cobra, and the kit came with the longer SN95 axles, so the rear track width looked just like yours - and the tires rubbed the fenders. I wasn't crazy about the look anyway, so I swapped in a pair of Ranger axles, which are Fox-length, and I used a set of North Race Cars caliper relocation brackets to tuck the rear 275/40 tires nicely into the wheel wells. Looks just right and nothing rubs.
You can get a lot more then you quoted : Trust & believe that. I picked up an 89 for 2,000 and I put 1,500 in so far. I just need driver’s side door to be put back together. It’s ( white ) and unmolested. Everything stock & original and I love that. I am on the East Coast and if anybody knows people who work on these ( Fox bodies ) please let me know.
‘91 is the year I was looking for, but the LX, not the GT. They are getting increasingly very hard to find without needing a lot of work. These were the muscle cars of my generation and they were a dime-a-dozen back then, now you rarely ever see one.
That's so cool, that's the good thing about the car hobby, rather ur a guy, girl, or little kid everybody can get into it. And those memories you made are priceless. Anyway great video great story and a beautiful Fox. 🇺🇸 MERICA
they should never sell that car, like the son said, he has memories with his father and grandfather building it, as I am sure they do with him. that car should be priceless to them. Also that is one hell of a good looking Mustang.
I have a very good condition 1986 Mustang GT that runs great, clean title, and the original owner...ME! She needs TLC from sitting so much though. When are you guys coming over!??
Prices on a nice example.. north of 12k. Your car! North of 15k. Great work. You and your son should get into the restoration business. By the time he is 18 he will be the Michael Jordan of the car world.
This is what happens when you have a positive role model in your house!!!🖤 And you're way wrong on the worth of that car, in today's market right now, I'd say that car would go for about 35,000 easy...😎🇺🇲🖤
I'm 17 and there's one in my driveway...I'm trying to get my dad to let me have or buy it lol🤘🏼🇺🇸💯I'm In love with this fox...there's a vid on my channel!🤘🏼
I’ve wanted to rebuild a car for a long time. At first I wanted to do a wrecked car, the. I wanted to do a restoration but my dad doesn’t want to see if in his driveway until it gets finished. Sad. I want to do a foxbody so bad man!
@@sherloidbai7064 did you even watch the video? The Dad said the car is "priceless", but they'd put a $12k sticker on it. Not trying to rip anyone off. But I'd offer them that price.
@@sherloidbai7064 maybe he bought the car for $2k? Anyway, we can both agree, this is a beautiful example of a restored fox. Personally, I own the fox I want, but this here, is definitely a beauty. Merry Christmas!
When u put the sn95 rear in did u narrow it? I ask bc I have a 90 and want to do a 5 lug rear disc on it. Also awsome job you and your son did and great your dad could help also. I'm looking for a car to build with my 14 year old son. My pops and I built one for me and I want that bond project with mine. I only hate pops passed 5 years ago and wony be around to help us. You and your son are a inspiration to me and my son. Awsome fox
My son likes the fox cars but prefers the first sn95 cars I've heard now that the fox cars have reached collector status, the next cars to hit that will be the 94 and 95s bc they were the only sn cars with the pushrod 5.0. I found a 95 convertible gt. I drive a truck so I hope it's still there when I get home this weekend. My sons 15th birthday is next month that would give us a year to restore the car and have it ready for when he gets license at 16. Hang on to that car not only is the value going up but I'd give anything to find that 78 mustang my pops and I built. I tried to find it a few years ago but it's hard when u lost contact with the person u sold it to. U cant put a price on those memories u have with your dad.
Straight body with no rust is from from “neglected”..you should see some of my customers projects that come through my doors..if you think this car was bad you wouldn’t go near the ones I’ve done 🤣😂
Kid you are bless to have a family like that!
Yup, when I was 18 and mentioned the word "Mustang", my father told me to get lost and that I will not have one and it isn't going on his insurance.
He'll of a job. A-1, That kids going to be successful in life period. A goal, hard work, and dedication. Good luck son, Good job Dad.🍻

Beautiful Foxbody! I would put a 1993 Cobra wing on it. You guys did a kick ass job together and it shows.
I grew up yelling 5.0 5.0 when i would hear a Mustang coming..i've seen a bunch. This is one i would call perfect.
I can't believe that the fox body is a classic car man
Great job dad, that's how fathers and son's should be.
I think the dad might be undervaluing it at 12 Grand, that's a really nice build not overly modified from stock
Those 5.0 were solid built cars , I'm learning alot from you tube about classic to mordern mustang's, great job young man ! That mustang looks amazing!
Jerry Navarro I’ve owned several they are far from solid built lol

That car is probably closer to $15,000 to $16,000 range depending where you are in the country.
Impressive. Car is clean. Not a fan of the color, but on these fox bodies it’s perfect. Kid has skills, and ambition. 👍

I'm rebuilding a 1990 mustang gt with me soon to be stepfather.😀

Beautiful car and great story but they should’ve repainted it the original color

It's made by Kaenen called the Extended GT wing

$12k is a bargain for that car. People want $8-10k for running but beat to hell foxes in NC

From my understanding the price has tripled since 2017 as of 2022. Just got one as an investment, not a joke.
