My wife and I have been enjoying your videos and have learned some great tips so far. We recently got a 2020 JL Sport S which we will be outfitting this winter for our off-roading. We both enjoy surf fishing so the majority of our off-roading will be beach driving and some back roads looking for interesting photography locations. The Jaco looks like the best for us. Thanks for posting.
I want something halfway between those- one device I can screw on the valve stem and it lets air out until I unscrew it. It would be cheap and easy and repeatable. I can time the air release with my watch. I'm leery of removing valve cores. At some point they're going to get lost or damaged, or they won't seal up anymore. Definitely want to carry a bag of spare valve stems with you. After a couple of them won't seal or get launched into a creek or sand dune you'll decide you need spares. I typically deflate by pushing a key into the valvestem for about 2 minutes each. I bring along a small foam pad that I can put on the ground to kneel on while I'm doing this.
That's great if you only air down to the same amount each time. I vary based on the conditions and type of trail. I don't like also having to go through a tedious calibration if I don't like the pre-set pressure.
@@TrailTraveler Thanks for that. At the moment I'm using the Bush Ranger tire deflator. Takes a long time but I hate the ones that pull the valve out especially if you pull it too far out

Great point about bad weather deflation...have not heard anyone else mention this.

Thanks for the straight forward video. Going to go with Jaco.
Awesome video! Thank you for sharing!
Good video! I really like my trailhead tire deflator.
Do they have a gauge on them for setting the pressure?
@@TrailTraveler no gauge on them but set the recessed Alan and forget about it. Always the same pressure. Can’t accidentally adjust without tool.

@@TrailTraveler I always run about the same pressure off road . Adapt and drive.
So helpful! Thank you!
Killer video!
So these don't pull the valve out. Is that correct? Talking about the small little windup brass ones in the little pouch
No they don’t. They aren’t as fast as the other ones but they are easy to use

We use the Apex Performance Valves....Fastest way to air down. th-cam.com/video/4DZ8W-my-IY/w-d-xo.html
Great video!! Thanks!!!
