Just did this on my 22 Veloster N DCT. Cold transmission, 80 degree F outside temp. GLAD I picked up a 4th quart from GenRacer because it used all of 3 and then some before it began to weep. Appreciate your videos!
From your last change video that gear oil is filthy. On the control oil, you never change that got ahold of the guys at Genracer who race an Elantra I know it's crazy because I want to change mine but will only do the gear oil. The dealer wants $275 to do the gear oil but they say they put a flush in there. Well for the flush to work it would have to be up in the air with the wheels spinning?Look in your manual and see what it says about changing the control oil. Seen on Hyundai parts worldwide there is a filter for our trannys also where the control oil is.I would say on the gear oil just drop the plug and let it sit overnight then fill. the 3.4 QTs are what the Kona N takes and we have the same setup. Keep us updated I like your vids also how much did it cost for the service manual?
@@cindysue5474 it's the lighting, Motul High Torque DCTF looks that dark in bulk You can subscribe to the hyundaitechinfo website for up to date manuals and tsb's for $60/mo, otherwise the various EN KN VN facebook groups, discords, or reddits usually have a subset of it cloned somewhere
this is crazy confusing, im worried if i have the dealer do this they wont do it right or even know what to do. did your process of running the trans & filling again work? any updates?

Is it the same as 70w75 in the manual for the dct? Spoke to redline and they told me to put in 70w75 for the 8 speed wet clutch transmission
