Great demo. I have just got this gimbal for my Samsung S22 Ultra, bit frustrated that it only appears to support 30fps. Any idea if there will be an update for for 4K 60fps in the app?
Will you also be reviewing the New DJI Osmo Mobile SE Gimbal (no number) that came out at the same time as this? Apart from no built in selfie stick (90 mins more battery life though) and no zoom wheel, it seems to have most of the same improvements (info screen, active track 5 etc.) at 2/3 the price.
Trigger tip: quick press then hold for manual Fast Follow. The gimbal will orient to your motion Fast speed as long as you continue holding. Release to return to Normal (assuming you have it set to that)

But more importantly you provided examples of how all the modes and controls worked in a way I was easily able to understand how. I will be able to use them. Thanks and I subscribed to your channel.
Hi. Could you comment on the following review about the OM 6, please. I’m seriously considering getting one as my first phone gimbal: “I bought this as an upgrade from the OM4, but when you align your phone (iPhone 13 Pro) properly in the clamp and set the camera to ultra wide view you will see the arm of the gimbal in the bottom of the frame. It is also pretty annoying to have to remove the clamp to collapse the gimbal compared to the OM4 where it stays on. That just gives you one more piece of gear to keep track of. Overall it works well and I like the different modes, but I think I will stick to the OM4 for now.”
Awesome video. How do you find the phone battery life when using the Mimo App with the Gimbal? On Android, it gets hammered and the battery gets depleted very quickly!
Are you sure that when you hold the trigger to lock the gimbal it’s not gonna tilt up and down or pan left and right? If you move the stick up and down and left and right? So holding the stick vertically it may work but let’s see if you move the stick forward so it’s now horizontal with the ground, the screen also tilts down, right? Please verify because I’m thinking about returning mine.
It would be nice if there was a 'smooth zoom' or a zoom to a preset % but not a deal breaker. Also other people have noted, it would nice to hold position until target is exiting frame rather than trying to actively track keeping in center. So jerky! There seems to be better tracking out there.... For a quick vlog I don't mind using front-facing camera, but definitely prefer using the better cameras on the back - that single button press is appreciated though. We need a remote!

Anybody else find it annoying that you can’t lock the pan, only the tilting will lock while holding the trigger? Let’s say if you’re moving forward while filming and you want to move in a straight line, you can prevent it from tilting up and down, but it’s going to sway left and right. That is ridiculous.

I would agree with those points but the OM6 improvements do make a difference and those small issues are easy to work around.

I see you are using a DJI wireless mic. Is it paired with your phone and if so, how did you do it?
I recorded the audio separately on the mic and then got my editor to sync everything.

The Osmo Mobile 6 should keep your phone stable and centred if you’re holding the trigger.
Do you need to film via the app with this gimbal? Or can we use normal the iphone camera layout
I believe that you need to use it for certain features. I haven’t tested it though, I normally just use the DJI app.

You can screw the device into a tripod and then angle your phone down.

Did u noticed tht every Osmo 6 video is with Iphones??? ;) cause with android, like me, it sucks 100% but no one cares about this fact.
I never got a chance to test on Android. My primary phone is iPhone so I was just using what I had available.

You can enable SpinShot by cycling through the different gimbal modes (M button).
