I would love to see 4 tests...1. Run up stairs without the dampener and without anti-shake set in the software. 2. Then do it again with the dampener. 3. Then do it with the anti-shake set in the software. 4. Then do it with the dampener and the anti-shake at the same time. I am curious to see with that progression of tests to see how good the dampener and software work in unison. And how much one improves the other.
Enjoyed video i have a 360 and was wondering if you had any experience with external mic's im in a dilemma trying to get my voice whilst rinding my motorbike. I use a flip helmet Shoei neotec and im considering the instamic pro plus also seen a lot of youtube vids on rode go 2 but not on motorbike riders.. Im in search of a simple idea that i can take my helmet off unclip my 360 one x2 off the bike mount then walk into the cafe or bike shop etc whilst talking. Then clip it all back on and talk whilst riding ANY IDEAS???????
This video si great. I will buy one to try on my bicycle videos. I'm using ndfilter with fixed shutter speed and the resulting video is really bad. I hope this accesory will help! Thanks
Thank you for this video overview. I was looking forward to seeing this damper used on a motorcycle or a bike. I do realize you include "Scientific review" in the title, but a real life, application review would show the impact of this accessory more directly.
To be honest I am disappointed as my one x2 now shakes a lot with vibration damper and video footage is more shsky even with the flow stabilisation on in the app. Earlier I used to mount my one x2 on the stem mount on my gsxr1000r2021, and zero vibrations....you can see videos on my channel. will be uploading a video today with the damper on the same stem mount....and you can see the shakyness
I have a confusion. I was told by support that the vibration dampener should be used with, the Motorcycle U-bolt Mount or the Handle Bar Mount, and the dampener should be installed between the camera and the mount. However IF the Extension Rod or the Selfir Stick is connected to the Motorcycle U-bolt Mount or the Handle Bar Mount then the dampener is not needed at all. Does that mean that the extension rod or the selfie stick work as dampeners? I am not confident support agent gave me the right information. Can you help?
Hi, ordered the mount with my new RS. Camera mounting on my recumbent trike is a challenge as I watch my mirrors vibrate loose. On my rough Arizona trails. thanks
My One X2 had issues with turning off while motorcycle racing and I could overcome the issue by putting band or take around the batter “putting extra force on it”. This may fix that issue. I kept getting partial videos.
@@firdausalshadiq2774 I put some tape or rubber band to put extra force on battery and it worked well. I have since asked for a warranty exchange but have not been able to see if replacement is any better.
Insta 360 markets it’s one rs to be used on bicycles and motor bikes. I would hope they aren’t now claiming we need this device for the camera to operate properly in those scenarios. If so I’d feel their initial claims would be seen as false advertising or an admission of faulty design in the original cameras.
I desperately need this but they are out of stock. My insta360 X and X2 died in a couple of months mounted on my S1000RR superbike, which produced high-frequency vibration from its high-revving inline-four motor.
@bernhtp on a 2018 Gsxr750 Had in attached to where mirror mounts up with a ram mount and the dampener..made for super shaky video Also use it on a 3 foot carbon fiber pole attached to rear of motorcycle.. works better on pole, but camera still fails time to time
This review would be great if I was trying to engineer this, but I just want to SEE what it would look like when it's in action.
I agree
The vibration dampener aren't for better video quality. Its to protect your device against vibrations. Electronics doesn't like vibrations.
No sample video??
A little disappointed, a review without any capture video when in use. This should be call a "Scientific overview".
Tremendo trabajo.
Muchas gracias amigo.
Pregunta: ¿Funciona para salir a caminar o correr con la X3?
Saludos desde Santiago de Chile.

I get bad vibration doing fast movements on my 3m selfie stick when filming people skateboarding would it help that do you think?
We would use this to mount a One X2 on an antique biplane (lots of engine and wind - induced vibration). Looking forward to it.

He cant show it cos the product will be present in the footage

Does not work on a motorcycle.. I bought one, totally useless. Also watch this link th-cam.com/video/dHCqhIW7NzY/w-d-xo.html

Hi, how is your experience with the mount? Does it help and is it visible in your footage?

So it made things worse?

So it's not invisible with the selfie stick, correct?
great coverage, I went from do I need this to hell ya for my escooter mount.
How about if you have the camera in an angel
If you have camera at angle you will see part of dampener on camera
Mine is not 1/4 inch hole on the bottom!? Is it wrong?

Hay I am buying one now

Real life example please. I feel that I'm being sold.
So, 15 minutes of explaining how it works but never bother to step outside and show that it actually works?

Pointless video without any footage
What a waste of time. You didn't even bother to demonstrate it in real life situations.
