I’ve added Tunic to my list! Looks amazing, and I dig Zelda/Okami styled stuff like this. Thank you for the recommendation! And at 3:12, is that Aggelos? I love that game!
Yup! I like to put all this video game footage I've been accumulating to good use, and Aggelos just happened to be what I was playing at the time of editing :)
Dude, your videos are awesome. And so is the game you're making. You deserve a lot more subscribers. Btw, your youtube name sounds like "Get in the jar" :))
Good informative video :) Your comment about Super Mario reminded me of the early days of Minecraft, when you would share crafting recipes with your friends instead of looking it up on a wikipage. I do miss that time and I haven't experienced that feeling of mystery about a game since.
I love the thesis of the video, but one huge problem I have is this is seemingly a video for people who haven't played the game, but the video clearly shows several spoilers and hidden paths. Finding those is the crux of the game. For instance, the teleport pad, the shortcut behind the waterfall, or even that the fairy chests exist at all. These are things you're not supposed to know about going in, and knowing they exist can heavily color your first playthrough. A spoiler warning for the visuals at the beginning of the video would have gone a long way.
Yeah in retrospect there probably could've been a general spoiler warning for the first part of the video, aside from the one for the obviously spoiler heavy end part. It's a tough balance when you're trying to tell people about a unique game without spoiling it. Though I do think the average person watching this that hasn't played the game probably wouldn't remember most of these things, assuming they stopped at my spoiler warning
It's true. Not only is it a Zelda game but THIS ONE has a FOX! Completely different.
What the fuck is a Keaton?
Very Cool Video!
