      It does just like the top comment said. Dried fruits got sulfur or sulphate it’s harmful for your health(specially those with asthma) avoid all processed foods eat fresh and natural things by any means if you live in the USA. That’s my advice to people who are concerned about harmful ingredients👁stay healthy and woke guys

    I've been seeing a lot of contradicting information on fructose. Your video tells me it's beneficial, other say it is the worse type of carb there can be. Confusion intensifies

      I'm with you there. I'm so confused about everything health related. One person says this another says the oppisite. I know the bible has the ultimate authority over the matter but when the bible is silent then what?

    I have a 9 tray Excalibur raw food oven, a large capacity dehydrator. I love it, as I like to conserve time and energy by doing large batches of things at once, especially while I have it down on the counter. The best banana chips I've ever eaten were hands down homeade browned overripe bananas. Nothing put on them. I cut them quarter inch thick, and the natural brown sugar concentrated in the center of each round, providing a carmelish crunch in the center was truly candy-like. the same thing happened when I made my own raisins and didn't dehydrate them like the store bought. They reminded me of that gum back in the 80's that had the sweet liquid flavor burst in the center. These also had a little crunch here and there from the crystalized sugar. Some of these dehydrated fruits really are a delicious complexity of flavors and textures when not overdried, and when the fruit is at it's peak. As a person with an apple tree whose done all the things, apple sauce, apple butter, I don't drink so no hard cidar, fruit leather in the vitamix with lemon juice and cinnamon and a touch of water is the fastest and most econimical way to preserve apples for years. Apple chips are great too, but time consuming if you are coating them in lemon juice to keep them from turning brown. laying out the peices on the tray will always be the most tediious part, spreading batter with a spatula goes fast once you get the hang of it. Thanks so much for the informational video

      Completely reversible. I was insulin dependent been off the medications for a decade. Cut out corn-syrups. Avoid processed an fast foods. Fruits especially melons, grapes an berries are great for health. Fruit has fructose an actually bypasses the pancreas it doesn't need converted like glucose does. A diet focused on fruits an veggies heals an detoxes liver. Lemon water gives energy, cleanses blood an so much more. In 10 days my diabetic feet were completely healed an smooth.

    Wonderful vid content and presentation. Just curious, do you have any concerns about the heat in a plastic dehydrator ? It just makes me think there could be chemicals getting in the food from fumes or contact with the food. It's really the only thing that has stopped me from getting one.

    • @simonetomasi4080
      @simonetomasi4080 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      different plastics have different resistance to heat, and you don't heat that much when dehydrating.

    What about the amount of sugar that is in dried fruits? Doesn't this matter?

  • @georgiosladas3106
    @georgiosladas3106 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Dry fruit if you soak them, they hydrate become more balance to taste.
    Could be combined, with something else? Oat meal, or starch? Alkaline and acidic food, in food combos chart are separated.
    But the main disadvantage is they are out of their season. And here I believe usually everything out of season. won't benefit much, natures rule.
    Is someone eating them dried reisens, figs etc, in any way with no issues?

    • @guitarnotator
      @guitarnotator 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I eat seasonally but the point of preserving fruit is when it's not available in season you can have right?

      If you aren’t diabetic and want to avoid diabetes, intermittent fasting does wonders to get that fat off your liver and increasing insulin sensitivity. Please don’t fast if you’re already diabetic though. Avoid added sugars at all costs. Eat whole foods. Make sure you’re getting your vitamin D, magnesium, chromium, cinnamon and your probiotics and prebiotics. Have fermented foods in your diet. Only eat whole grains rather than processed grains. Low GI foods. Omega-3 fatty acids, thiamin, B12, vitamin C and E may also be beneficial. Pretty much just eat a balanced diet, cut out processed foods, give your gut a break from constant consumption through intermittent fasting and get your bloodwork done to check for deficiencies to avoid diabetes. Only take supplements for deficiencies after talking to your doctor. I’m in the US and don’t have diabetes or pre diabetes, just quit eating harmful junk and over consuming
