Hello! You are amazing! I am a beginner trumpet player, and putting together a solo for a concert and want to play an easy Disney song, (lower notes the better) are there any you might suggest?
Hi! Thanks :D What kind of solo is it? Like, will it just be you playing it, or will there be accompaniment? Off the top of my head "Part of Your World" sounds like it might be a good one. Or maybe "When She Loved Me". "God Help the Outcasts" might work as well.

Beautiful tone as always. I had a suggestion. Maybe for Aladdin use a flugelhorn and a trumpet for Jasmine's part. Just to have the differentiation between the parts and to match their voices a bit better. You absolutely nailed that high note at the end. C natural?
Thanks! That would be a good idea, but I don't have a flugelhorn. Yep, it was a C natural! It's technically a harmony part, but I always loved hearing it in recordings, so I wanted to use it at least once in this xD
The Trumpet Man a fluegelhorn is much easier to play, in my opinion, than a trumpet, and it has a very natural-sounding resonance. I love my flugelhorn. Playing white Christmas with a flugel and trombone feature was one of my favorite performances ever
