...to be fair to Andy, though, when the apparent alternative is leaving a very conspicuously-stained tampon in a basically completely empty trash can, I can see why he might've hoped that the toilet could handle it.
I think my favorite thing about this is the fact that Michael's exasperation is palpable even in animated form

Tampons were invented as emergency way to stop bullet wounds bleeding during WW1 and the field nurses were like, DIFFERENT IDEA GUYS. Still, I can’t imagine this application...

I didn't know that was the original use I though it was backwards because of the stories I here of people using tampons to pack wounds.
Morgan from you comment I think you misunderstand how to stop bleeding. To stop bleeding you need to apply pressure over the damage area for example in amputation scenarios a tourniquet to apply pressure around the circumference of the limb. Or in puncture wounds packing the wound by inserting an absorbent material that will expand with moisture applying pressure to the damaged area. I’m no medically expert just from here say but still important info if this is your last resort.

You can flush tampons 😂 maybe if your plumbing is not the best don’t but they are flush safe
No they aren't. They may not effect you directly but that will go to the waste processing plant meaning someone will have to go into the sewage to clean it up because you and others were to lazy to walk to a bin.

Think of it as a basic DIY nerf gun that shoots tampons instead of nerf bullets. If you search google I'm sure you'll find the blueprints to make one.
