@@bradkirchhoff5703 I don’t think I’ve seen a gas station in 20 years where you can just start pumping. 100% of the stations I ever go to, the pump won’t engage until you go swipe a card or go in and prepay.
Hi Family, one thing I noticed is that you guys are absolutely precious. Your kids are beautiful and handsome and you are raising them in the right way. Few families can claim to have the rapport that you do. Kudos to you and keep up the great work with the kids. They will grow up well!
At Costco gas pumps, for example, after you insert your Costco membership card into a slot in the pump stand, you insert your credit card, etc., then pump the gas into your vehicle.
Garin, I think you are thinking about Chipotle when talking about the large burritos. Praline is basically cooked or candied sugar on nuts. If you want to pay cash, you either have to go in to pre-pay or they sometimes will have a cashier out on the grounds to help you with an outdoor register. They absolutely know what gas pump you are on because they have cameras at each one and can confirm where you getting gas at. You can pay inside or at the pump. The sliced brisket sandwich is my absolute favorite sandwich. And my big brother loves the club sandwich. The reason they spent so much money is because they had to get stuff for the crew. And lots of souvenir to take back home with them. What they showed they are eating didn't cost $300.00. It's a great place to grab a quick sandwich and hit the road. Really a brilliant idea for a "gas station". Howdy y'all from the Great State of Texas 🤠🇺🇸
How you’re allowed to pay depends on the area. Many require pre payment due to people driving off without paying. You can pay with cash by going in first, then they’ll fill it to the total paid, or you can pay with a card at the pump. Some smaller towns still allow you to pay with cash afterwards. I live in a tiny town (no stoplights and one gas station) and they recently switched over to pre pay.

14:40 I’ve rode in the American school bus from when I was in Elementary school through High School. I didn’t think people, outside of America, found them to be cool. All I remember from my school days were the loud and annoying kids at the back of the bus causing our bus driver to stop on a random street just to yell at them. I vaguely remember doing my homework in the morning on the school bus, because I was too lazy to do it the day before. Opening the window was sometimes difficult for me because it would sometimes get stuck. There were fights in the school bus and stuff being thrown around at people and notes being passed around to people from the back to the front and vice versa. I tried my best to be as invisible as possible 😂
It can vary a little by station. Some require you to pay ahead of time. Most let you just pay at the pump or inside (after pumping). A big part of the $300 dollars they spent, was stocking up on supplies for a video they just released recently - where it's British highschoolers trying Buc-ees stuff.
If you guys want to see a school bus you’ll need to visit the US from Monday through Friday and September through to the next June. They usually won’t be on the roads on summer break.
you can pay at the pump, or you can go inside and tell em what pump your at and how much you need and they can set it up and you pay for that amount, a lot of old movies show older pumps or are set in a location where you have to go inside to pay.
In the US you either pay with your card at the pump or if using cash you go in and pre pay the amount you want before you pump. Also, they bought an inflatable beaver and an entire suitcase of snacks to take back to England to do a video on. That is why their total $ amount was so high.
I've never understood why Buc-ees doesn't have showers. The Love's truck stops out West has both showers and baths. There are even barbers at some stores.
You either pay at the pump or inside. You can no longer pump then pay. Some states you are not allowed to pump your own gas. I know in NJ it's a state law. You are not allowed to pump your own gas.

A lot of gas pumps in the United States has actual card readers where you insert your car and it takes the money off your credit or debit card and then you start pumping gas or you can take it in and pay the cash register. Sometimes you have to go in and pay for the gasand then they authorize the pump so you can put however much you paid for in.
I 100% agree with you on drinking/eating after someone else. I am adamant about NOT doing this especially after the Covid years. Case in point, my mom and dad recently went to the gym where she forgot her water bottle, so my dad let her share his. Three days later, they both had Covid, and they got the long version of it, so they were coughing and sick for 4 solid weeks. One bottle of water! I've had the same best friend going on 29 years. We pay first because of people driving off after a fill up without paying. So, we either pay at the pump or go inside and say something like I am getting 40 dollars on pump six and then you go out and the pump shuts off at your prepaid amount.
Some gas stations make you pay before they turn on the pump. This was started to because some dishonest customers were pumping the gas and then taking off without paying. It’s a bit inconvenient because you have to estimate the cost for the fuel you’re about to get, pay, pump, and then return to the cashier again to either be reimbursed or pay the difference between the actual cost and the cost estimated.
