I am seeing this by accident. this is a wonderful host and very knowledgeable guest. Thank you!! The problem in Ethiopia is not the authorities asking for license for this and that. It is the fact that paying individuals off (bribe) is seen as a normal way of doing business. i am okay with asking for licenses because we would expect that would be uniform and fair to everyone. China hanged corrupt officials a few times in recent history.

I don't mean to be too negative but his business ideas could have been very well presented in Amharic that virtually everyone understands here in Ethiopia. I guess speaking in Amharic, the national language of Ethiopia is not "sexy enough" to you. I fear these are the kinds of people who inadvertently or deliberately degrade our languages and culture. If anything use this opportunity just like Tadios teach young entrepreneurs not only just business ideas but to value themselves and their languages and culture at the same time.

Christsaves as an Ethiopian American who isn’t completely fluent in Amharic I appreciate that he’s speaking in English. I think this interview was for the diaspora people and Ethiopians living in Ethiopia which English would be the best medium of communication.

@Christsaves, You may request a sub-title or you create one. People (Ethiopians) in USA are currently teaching their kids Amharic in Sunday schools in almost all churches.

So maybe; the [very]_AfriCAN Nations; should = "deregulate_ industries and reduce tax-es; in order: to make it as easy as it can be, to: start; run and GROW A Business" =employing more people/GROWing the economy??
