I feel like Arknights Endfield is going to be such a breath of fresh air in the gaccha genre. HG is really just doing their own thing and it looks absolutely amazing! Also I don't know if you noticed but at 6:22 the turret (and a tesla tower) they placed down is actually firing at the enemy. This has huge potential cux imagine having to build walls and turrets to defend ur base from hordes of enemies!
Hypergryph is the only devs I trust to innovate and change things up. They actually care about their games, and I think they will change up the genre for sure.
I love that you no longer have to switch to use skills. That was the one of the big gripes I inferred from alpha test footage. Not only did it look clunky, but it also felt very immersion breaking when the character switches places with you. It just did not look nice. When I tell you that the new footage is a glow up from the alpha test it is an INSANE glow up.
Outside of that having the character just switch to your location just didn't make sense if you swapped to a caster or someone that needed to be outside of melee range. I'm so glad they changed how QTEs work.
At your video's 16:39 Bottom left on of the MC there is an icon "切换“ which means Switch. Suggesting that it is likely you can switch to other characters.
I do feel like the option to play as the other characters will still be present. Above the MC is a Q key prompt, and an arrow pointed at her below. I think you can freely swap between characters, and they've separated it from skill triggers to make both elements more independent, and they simply didn't show it off in the demo. But we'll know for certain in a month, won't we? Also looks like they've separated skill triggers from the Ults, which is very welcome, since Ult being available forced its use back in the tech test.
Yeah thats what I was thinking. I'm glad it seems they kept a lot of the combat but split it up so the user can have more freedom when engaging in combat.
I really like the artstyle. It is anime and realistic at the same time. 😊 For example in Palword(great game btw.) It always looked little odd to me the difference in art of pals and the world. Here it fits together perfectly. 😵💫
Mann so hype for this game. Definitely a different vibe and unique compared to the common anime style open world. The base building is a unique touch, making us the players more involved, makes the world look more alive and realistic
You didn't notice that the starter mission location is now more expanded and not small anymore? They did many changes. Included the top view on the "factorio" base, that is also new addition. Character animation in the menu are not only a little bit changed but had big changes. Also, when you hit rock to gather resources the other character will also do it with you together (included together doing planting like you just saw).
Looks like you can swap characters without having to go to the menu which is nice. But it seems like it might have other similar mechanics to other rpgs
Is it really 60 gb? or just install size? cbt is kinda scary what size launch would be? AAA graphics gacha games like this need a compact version/the ability to delete high and extreme graphics in the files
The FAQ says you need 60GB or higher available on your drive but that doesn't mean the game itself will be a 60 GB. Sometimes games will download and then compress the files after so it needs the extra space temporarily but it won't start the process if your under 60 GB is how I under it.
@@PartTimerZack Oh nice, I still think High-Exteme assets should be able to be "deleted" in the folder and have a seperate file mid assets download only option. That can still be lowered in ingame option settings.
It could just be beta specs. Like Zack said the game itself could be smaller, it just needs 60gb to download then compress itself to a smaller size after. Things can also just be unoptimized, and be more optimized once the full game releases. Same thing with the RAM specs, 32gb recommended and 16gb minimum screams unoptimized bloat to me. I'm willing to bet it can be slimmed down to 8gb minimum and 16gb recommended.
Requirment for disk space is always for installation, usually (or should be standard) file is compressed so u need space for extra data when decompress it
I can't imagine not being able to swap characters. They're selling the characters, who's going to buy an operator that you can't play as, just to have them follow you around and sometimes do a qte?
its the beta test, obviously they need more specs, its not like its the launch. the way to talk makes me feel like u never saw another game have a beta test before

From Tower Defense to Tower Offense.
it had tesla tower too
@@t.d.bloodrune422 oh yeah how did i miss that lol
I missed so much lol going to have to rewatch it a couple of times

Definitely a different approach vs what everyone else is doing
It looks SO DAMN GOOD DUDE
I'M SO HYPEDDDDD

Thats good to know, i wish Demo was EN
Thank you for the information! I figured that's what it was for but glad to have some confirmation
It looks like combat swapping is gone though like old endfield
-you can do farming like gardening
-can build turrent to defend ur base
yep im sold
Yeah I can't wait!
yes you can switch character like tech test
endfield hype \o/
All the hype!

I've played a lot of Palworld so I know what you mean! That's what I like about Endfield as well!

I saw that it was bigger and more lively. I mentioned that it was way better than it was in the tech test.
With the character swaping I've played similar rpgs you probably just assign a leader which you play as and can swap them in the menu 🤔
Looks like you can swap characters without having to go to the menu which is nice. But it seems like it might have other similar mechanics to other rpgs
From the beta trailer there's sections of combat where they arent controlling the MC so i guess swapping still exists
Yeah I imagine they wouldn't get rid of the ability to switch so it's probably just a tweak to how you do QTEs
Woooooooooo!
The game just looks so much improved!
Also ya it seems the swapping was removed and orbs seem to be removed too
Seems the swapping is now the "Q" button in the bottom left. Which allows you to choose when you want to swap
@@PartTimerZack i meant combat swap
@@SoulWhiteAngel ahhh yeah
They removed the pause on skill in combat?
It looks that way. I forgot that was part of the tech test combat! That's why it threw me off at first but I couldn't figure out why

ZZZ is 72GB and HSR is 43GB. 60GB for this wouldn't shock me.
the game had turret and tesla tower nice.
I'm definitely sold!
it looks nice
Looks very good so far!

Someone mentioned the "Q" button in the bottom left was labeled as "switch" so that's a good sign! I figured that's what the button would be for.
yes u can swap off chracters
Absolute Cinema ✋🎥🤚
1000%
lol
32 gb ram

60 gb SSD
optimization has left the chat. developers don't care about optimization
