Suzuki changed the gearbox (gear ratio) or the sproket ? 1st to 2nd = aprox 90 kmh (Gen 1 = 120 kmh) 2nd to 3rd = 165 kmh (Gen 1 = 180 kmh) 3rd to 4th = 215 kmh (Gen 1 = 230 kmh) 4th to 5th = 250 kmh (Gen 1 = 260 kmh) 5th to 6th = 275 kmh kmh (Gen 1 = 300 kmh (=at speedo possible)) Acceleration and max RPM ? Change gear under 10,500 at lower gear. You can find 0.1 sec each gear change (= I think). Is in the Gen3 ECU a electronic acceleration limiter active ? Topspeed limiter rev 10,000 @ 288 kmh (=speedo). Sure ? Remember the 1999 to 2001 speedo with max 340 kmh is optimistic for riders brain. I never checked if my speedo is percise. More than fast is enough fast. My angel cant follow.
The engine is a bit lazy in higher gears compared to other 1000 - 1300cc motorcycles I have seen . I am used to higher revving engines . I ride a Yamaha on track days with a group of friends . The Hayabusa's are rather heavy .
@@petrolhead.corner Allright, i have to check that this coming season, we could go measuring my friends Gen3. The early Gen1 `s had 340kmh speedos, when it was showing that 340 the true speed was just going over 300.

The king of king Hayabusa
It's unbelievable what an acceleration 😮😮😮 jet

The busa rider pay for madness = tires and higher garage service

its sensor didnt the whole 1st gear pull till 140kmph, thats y we see a catapult thingy

Do this for power
Rcc turbo kit
+1 front and -1 rear or +2 front

speed on the indicator is wrong; 290kph = 180mph. makes it seem like it's going faster than it actually is. still, 180mph is damn fast.

Don't take your revs so high - max power is around the beginning of the white zone so you are only losing power and stressing the engine big time.

bet it is not stock gen 3, feels way faster than mine after 4th gear lol
