Really appreciate you posting these. Everyone is quick to point out QD2 capabilities and it's superiority over QT2 (and it's no doubt a great system) but - these videos are harder to find, and prove that very rarely is QT2 the limiting factor on any trail that a WK2 would find itself on. Is more likely the driver, tires, articulation, or clearance - which any QD2 WK2 is not immune to. Makes me appreciate my QT2 jeep even more!
I just took my 2014 GC Limited Stock over Imogene Pass in Telluride, CO. I was the only GC on the trail and got a lot to stares. Worked fine. Only bottom a little twice. Some of the toughest terrain in the country. GC’s are really capable.
Good stuff fellas! Your lucky to have such good trails so close to home, not much close to Adelaide. I only just got my WK2, was hoping to get away these holidays, Googs Track or Gawler Ranges, then this virus shut everything down. Can't wait to get the rig offroad!
I'm just a person that enjoys off road videos and doesn't yet own a 4X4. It appears the smaller Cherokee may have better off road capabilities. But dang that Grand Cherokee looks cool and is more roomy.
Love to watch the Quad ra Track in action. Turning the right wheel to move the vehicle. I just got a 2020 WK2 TrailHawk. Had it out in some sugar sand and was amazing even on the stock tires.
I have a 2014 ecodiesel JGC WK2 with quadra trac 2 and I was debating whether on not to do mods to it mainly because it doesn't have the ELSD and you can't get a rear locker for them. Would love to know what you think please Birche??? Have you been held back much without the ELSD?
CLIFF Gare I'm very happy with the capability of the QT2. I don't think the QD2 gives a "massive" advantage, maybe more on sand but I don't do much sand driving.
EXOPLANET NOMAD all overland diesels have quadra drive 2 as well ,just not the petrol version.Yes it’s a slightly better system but I’m happy with the fun I can have with the quadra trac 2 and much cheaper to purchase than the diesel model.

People underestimate the WK2 capabilities. It's really a very capable car. I wish there were more off road videos of wk2

What tires does the overland have in this video?
I have the same if not worse rubbing noises inside when offroading is that normal ???

Quadro lift reliable system on grand Cherokee?!
Where did u purchase the nudge bar
john byrne it's a Chief Brand. Google, you can find them in Australia and the States
quadralift II right? are you guys on offroad 1
or 2?
AgentOrange yep, not sure what mode we were in, I change it to the track conditions.
Wk2 is not made off road like that. More and more people don't understand offroad terrain.
If this was a TrailHawk, you would've had the Quadra Drive II, a better system than Quadra Trac II.

Cool. Nobody cares about that input though.
