She built this house when she was on tour in 87-88 it was a lavish house she never gave it away! It was later sold after she passed!
That was my understanding as well .. her estate sold the house after her death.
Whitney Houston had the best voice i have ever heard in my life, so far. Hands down. Amazing strength and range. So sad she is gone and prior to her death, her voice was nothing like ut was in her heyday. Poor woman. She must have been so sad towards her end. And her daughter, Bobbi Christina? How tragic to die like her mother, so quickly. Poor Bobby Brown. That man went through it bad. People blamed him for so much of her troubles and we learned she caused a lot of her troubles herself. Nice house. This is the first celebrity mansion that I've seen that I'll live in. It's cozy and has warmth to it. Much nicer than the mansion that she abandoned in the Atlanta area

All due respect she didn’t purchase that house in 1993 Bobbi Kristina brown was born on March 4, 1993 Whitney had that house built back in 1987. That was one of the first big properties that she got when she got her record deal so you really should do your research before you do these little videos. I know you’re trying to do some thing I get that but do your research And she didn’t give it away. She still owned it. She just moved down to Georgia in the mid 2000s so do some research first that’s all I’m saying is you are it’s not a Bandan she didn’t give it away she didn’t give away 29 million she may have owed a lot of money but she did not just give it away the money or use it as a guest house so do your due diligence before you report on something

I don't think she undervalued it when she sold it. I think Whitney was just being who she was. People forget how generous and giving her heart was. More than likely I think she didn't actually "need" the money from the sale, and probably just wanted to make it affordable for someone else to be able to purchase, even though it does look worth a heck of a lot more.

the house in New Jersey is now renovated and has good new owners taking great care of the house. they renovated the kitchen and kept many original details of the house, like the WH in the pool, the original tile flooring in the kitchen, the fireplace still looks the same, pictures of how the house looks now is online

I suspect this house held too many bad memories for Whitney. And I think she also wanted some distance from her mom. And the suppliers always, ALWAYS want to lure you back to the dark side. Whitney also said Bobby started spraying painting the walls with all kinds of weird, troubling things. Sometimes awful shit goes deeper than drywall and paint.

True but the spray painting happened at the mansion in Atlanta. I believe that demon followed her wherever she went. Kim Burrell said when she went to Whitney mansion in Atlanta she stopped at the door and had to pray because she felt a unsettling overwhelming presence in the that mansion

Mendham NJ is one of the nicest parts of America. I was lucky enough to be raised in that area, it is stunning. Mendham/Bernardsville/Far Hills/Bedminster/Peapack-Gladstone are all picturesque.

That house was already there she bought it n while she was touring her dad over seen the renovations and they built onto it she did buy a place in Georgia when they were filming Being Bobby Brown they would go to the New Jersey property when visiting family she put it up on the market but she passed before it could sell her family sold it to a man that is a big Whitney fan he even found her grand piano that property sold in 2014 for 1.5 million to Matthew ( don’t remember his last name) he kept it the way Whitney left it he even found her grand piano n bought it I wanted to buy that house for the same reason he bought it can you imagine living in the house Whitney lived I remember the first time I heard her sing n when I seen her I thought she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen with a voice that of an angel

It's unfortunate she didn't have the guidance to build a home that could act as a sanctuary, free of chaos from her family and the outside world. The home is way too open.
The design of this home is a metaphor for how Whitney's life was open for everyone, from her family, to Bobby Brown's family and to the world. They ran through Whitney. She never had the structure or protection to keep her healthy.
