It’s not a race of course. But the way you hold your yarn might be slowing you down and more importantly hurting your hand. That’s probably why it felt sore the next day. Just saying. I know we’re all different but hands are hands and we need those so probably experiment with different ways to hold your yarn in the future.

how did you connect the granny squares? mine always end up boxy and stiff i do either slip stitch or sc

hehe thank you! and i believe it is called the flat slip stitch seam!
when you do finish it you will need to sew a lining in it because it is so big the bag will start to look saggy and stretch without a firm lining.
yup! already working on that haha- using canvas so that it'll be extra sturdy!
