      Ha. I remember reading somewhere that the reason he was moving too slow in this movie compared to others was cus he had been shot 5 times. So he was weak. at the point he almost got to Laurie as she climb through the small window, he also had to follow her through that. by the time he reach the elevator he was too weak to even bother opening it. of course later on his rage and adrenaline kicked in once again and he was strong enough to break through a door.

I then decided to do a search on TH-cam for 'Michael Myers Shot Halloween 1978' and got a few hits myself. After slowing the speed of the video to 0.25x, I was able to determine that he was indeed shot AT six times. But since there was no autopsy for him (technically, he never died) we have no way of knowing for sure every bullet hit him. So, I emailed my assistant and told her to see if she can slow down the video even more and see if the bullets can be seen hitting Myers. That could clear all this up.

    Awesome Reaction as Always. I'm glad Michael didn't kill any dogs in this one. In a deleted scene, shown for TV only, Jimmy is alive in the Ambulance that they put Laurie in at the end, don't understand why they didn't put that scene in the final Movie shown at Cinemas. Made Me smile when you mentioned Ross Gellar, I bet so many people these days won't get that. But I absolutely love Friends. And 10 out of 10 for knowing Ben Tramer is the boy Laurie liked from the first Movie. So many other people don't get that. 😀😎😲

    Fun fact. Carpenter has long admitted he doesn't like his twist about Michael and Laurie being siblings. But was at a loss for an explanation on why Michael would be so focused on her. He felt the story had reached its conclusion and there was nothing left to tell, and he wanted to explore other stories with franchise being an Anthology series. Which is what Halloween III was intended to be. But the producers and fans wanted more Michael Myers..so John left and the producers made 4 with out him. It's actually really similar to what happened with Freddy in the Nightmare movies. Wes Craven intended for it to be a stand alone movie with Freddy dying at the end..the studio refused and made the sequels without him.

    The Empire-Strikes-Back ripoff twist ruined this franchise. Michael killing Judith (his sister in the OG) was to show that he is pure evil that will kill anyone. He is supposed to be an embodiment of pure evil striking at random. No motive, no MO, no personality. That way you can project your own fears onto him, and so nobody in the audience can feel safe from this creepy stalker or make out why he is the way he is. Adding an MO ruins the character because now there is too much to figure out. John Carpenter didn't even want to make this sequel and wasn't passionate about it. He was done with Michael Myers. Thats why he was fine trying to bank in on the Empire twist of having protaganist and antagonist related. But now when you watch 2, 4-8, and the zombie movies you just know you're safe if you aren't related to them or around people that are. It puts an extra layer of "this can't happen to me" preventing any of the following movies from sticking with you the way the original did. Carpenter didn't think about that, clearly. He was going to end it here and make it an anthology movie which is why Loomis and Myers blow up at the end and 3 is its own movie and story. If it wasn't for the new trilogy ignoring every sequel and the sibling bullshit I would wish 2 never happened and 3 was 2 so we had more anthology movies but the 2018 movie FINALLY fixed this wrong and made Michael what its supposed to be and made me appreciate the OG more.

      @cyrisssmith8830 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@goldenageofdinosaurs7192 There is a big difference. Its all about preference but him predetermining Laurie from before he even left the asylum isn't as impactful as him picking he in real time just because she passed his house and her friends were yelling at him. Thats way more relatable (pun not intended) and creepy. Its way easier to identify with Laurie when you don't have to imagine you have a long lost murder brother. Also like I said his MO of killing family answers too many questions about him for him to he a blank slate. Unless you don't know shit about psychology then I guess its still random enough. I just think it was a very dumb move from a storytelling perspective because it lessons the OG.

      I agree fully. The twist in this movie does the absolute wrong thing for this franchise. It turns The Shape into Michael. It personifies him. @@sirmang9032 Yeah I honestly it was one of my least favorite horror franchises cause they fuck it up so early, I dislike way more than I like, and Fuck RZH2. Then I found out 2018 was nixing the sibling angle and fixing Michael and it got me interested. It made me reivaluate the original and start to love it. Then I saw it and it was fantastic
