Wow. I can play this piece, but not like that. The most magnificent rendering of the Widmung I’ve heard yet! I especially love the nuanced voicing of the lowest notes in the left hand in the Ave Maria closing. Just such great mastery of voicing. Bravo!
Mr. Leon McCawley, SO WONDERFUL AS ALWAYS, MAESTRO!!!!! Thank you for my favourite Schumann and for an excellent delightful performance, congratulations for over 1.210 subscribers to your great channel, you deserve more and more..., I've added this video to my old public playlists called "My Favourite Classical Music" and "Mr.Leon McCawley", again my best regards from cold Poland (lately 0 degrees Celsius) to England, have a nice relaxing Sunday/happy new week. Joanna
This is beautifully played! you show allot of technical skill also feeling as always. One of my favorites, shows all the confessions Robert Schumann had for Clara.

So this piece was composed by Liszt and dedicated for Schumann?
This piece is an arrangement/transcription of a Schumann song called Widmung- Dedication (for voice and piano) by Liszt for solo piano.
Fantastic as usual. Many thanks Leon.😊😮
