when something spawns with the ai of something with adds built in (golem, brain of cthulhu, wall of flesh, skeletron prime, skeletron, plantera, pumpking, etc.) the adds also get random ai, which can also be bosses with adds that can also have the ai of bosses with adds, this can result in infinite exponential enemy spawns, which is why your surroundings can suddenly become entirely filled with enemies lol
