I am a late-comer discovering this spectacular performance. Absolutely top in every respect.
I've known Mark Risinger since he was a kid and I am so proud of the man he is today and always has been. He has a remarkable voice and I could listen to him sing for hours.
Handel loved writing for the voice. and singers love to sing Handel and give the best of themselves. always a pleasure to listen and to sing .Thank you for such a beautiful recording.
I saw Amanda sing in 2015. She has a fantastic voice that recordings do not do justice.
So she is even more enchanting in real life..
This performance promotes spilitual uplift and awakening, and activates the human soul

I have been listening to Handel all my life. Quite frankly this is spectacular. Blindfolded I would have had no idea this was a student production. I've heard Athalia at Oxford. This is in a different league entirely.

Professional grade - and they're just young students. The conductor has the tempos just about as perfect as they ever could be. And,these days,that's becoming something of a rarity,particularly with so many Continental European groups.

What a horrible orchestra, violins sawing wood, unsynchronized playing, instruments out of tune, brass half a tone lower than the orchestra. A nightmare!
