Lovely to see Jayne looking so well after all these years!Eric's was special...Where else could you see New Wave bands and then reggae and even soul.I used to sketch bands from the audience...in charcoal on white paper cos spot lights were red which neutralised seeing true colour. I was lucky enough to meet Woodstock star Richie Havens through Roger and was allowed on stage to sketch. Privileged!!
I visited Liverpool for the first time a couple of years ago. I was very keen to drop by Eric's. Unfortunately, it's just another bar now, complete with the annoying twat outside 'encouraging' you to go inside ☹️

Great memories for me, matinee shows 78 to 80, great bands, going into Probe, then seeing great bands
