2:50 I loved hearing this second bit in the Hydrocity boss right after Phase 1 but before Phase 2. Very subtle because 99% of people didn't beat phase 1 right on that part but it gave a good feel that the fight was dragging on even if he only took 4 hits. I kinda wish that his fan-mobile took 8 hits, but that would give him a combined HP of 12 like the Death Egg battle in Sonic 2 so nevermind.
I may beat a Lot of times seens im trying to complete the game fully. And the music is pretty epic + it gets easy so even if he has more health I ready to have a great time

Death Egg Robot - Green Hill Egg Spider - Flying Battery Big Shaker - Hydrocity Egg Kraken - Oil Ocean Some of these might not be the actual names of the bosses, but it's what I like to call them.
This boss theme for a Sonic boss that I made up. It's right after the first "boss", but then a giant Buzz Bomber with a gatling fun comes out of nowhere and that is your first actual boss fight.
If eggman was a cuphead boss imagine his fight would go like this: The fight takes place in the death egg(3 and k) with the zone 1 backround Phase 1:eggman brings out the death egg robot (sonic 2), this fight is basically the same as the one in mania except the arms extend the entire screen now and he shoots the bombs a lot more now(plus his legs also have a hitbox now), plus there is also a lot of obstacles in your way as you run from eggman Phase 2:the fight switches to an airplane fight mid battle, now eggman uses the machine used on hydrocity act 2(mania) though this time he is in front of you, he constantly tries to push you back into a plethera of spikes that are coming from the front of the screen(plus an additional layer of spikes from the back), with eggman shooting three small bullets(with the addition of those bee enemies found in green hill zone flying by as backround hazards) Phase 3:eggmans machine turns into the one seen from marble garden act 2, it acts basically the same, flying around from different sides of the screen with him flying in the backround as a telegraph for where he is gonna fly from,there are also chameleon enemies seen from green hill zone(except now they home in on the player),you have to shoot eggman when he is on screen Phase 4:eggmans machine blows up, launching him into the backround and into the giant pillar thing(you know, that one giant metal pillar seen from the death egg backround one),the player switches back to platformer mode, then THE METAL PILLAR TURNS AROUND TO SHOW EGGMANS FACE ON IT MEANING THAT EGGMAN HAS BEEN ABSORBED AND BECAME THE PILLAR, as he overheats, spitting fire all over the field, spits out huge electro beams that fly around the battle field horizontally,and uses his moustache to become casey from pokemon and spit put bouncing pokeballsbat the player(yeah i know that last one was a bit ridiculous),occasionally, he will create a giant robo fist to attempt to attack you, however this is the only time you can attack him in this form, as you have to attack these fists to damage him, there is also the fourth heavy egg(lava reef act 2) that drives around the field and attemps to attack the player Knockout animation:basically the same as beppi the clowns knockout animation.
Ironically this theme makes me think about a "car chase" of eggman with a fast but tanky car-machine with rocket shooters and stuff while Sonic is escaping and trying to figure how to defeat eggman while this song plays, the only 2 bosses where this song fits perfectly is the death egg robot chase (almost perfectly) and the underwater chase at Hidrocity Zone.
Here’s a fun fact! This theme is used for bosses bigger than 1 screen, and chase bosses, appearing 4 times (death egg robot, spider mobile, laundro mobile, and mega-octus) However, the 2nd theme is reserved for single screen eggman fights, appearing 3 times. (Weather globe, gachapandora, and for some random reason the heavy king fight even though it should use the HBH theme????)
it's also used for bosses in returning zones (With the exception of Heavy Rider in Lava reef, Puyo Puyo in Chemical plant, Metal Sonic in Stardust speedway and Metallic madness for some reason.)
I just like to think of this as a Metal Slug boss, like the Giant Crab one in Metal Slug 3 where you're constantly jumping backwards while facing the boss and shooting at it. The boss flashes as you fire at it, and eventually begins to smoke. And it lasts way longer instead of going down in six hits.
The plan to bring out the Death Egg Robot at the start failed, because he should have stolen all the rings in the area and used metal resistant to hedgehog quills.

I just like to think of this as a Metal Slug boss, like the Giant Crab one in Metal Slug 3 where you're constantly jumping backwards while facing the boss and shooting at it. The boss flashes as you fire at it, and eventually begins to smoke.
