Hello Chris, amazing what you are doing there, congratulations, the fact you are not consolidate to save time is this not reuslting in a hughe amount of lots, is this not disturbing you, also you order pickers need to pick several times (maybe) the same item, I run a smaller store and sometimes due to space problems I allready run into this problem.
We do pick the same part for one order multiple times. Sometimes more than 10. That is what we call “customer driven lot consolidation”. We could spend the time consolidating as we add or as we pick. Right now we are doing the later. And yes sometimes it is a bother. But the benefits outweigh the downside.
