I am a fan of the TV show and just really enjoy the radio version. Many of these were repeated on the TV version. John Dehner is in a lot of these radio versions and way fewer of the TV episodes. I also sometimes recognize James Nusser aka Louie Pheeters playing a variety of speaking parts. These radio shows were just a separate art form and probably took more acting skills to impart the color and action through voice and sound effects.

The way it was, a time of a lot of ripping and roarings going on' thank goodness for Marshal Dillon I guess Chester's worth having a long to help him' load his gun or something😮. These shows are a part of our past they make me think of my grandparents they had a radio that look like a small refrigerator when I was a kid 50 years ago seemed like it had all but five six buttons on it and it lit up. I can picture them all sitting around listening to this' by their coal burning stove, what a comforting thought it is to me. Thanks for the show these are very special.

Love the Steve/Chris banter feels like I'm working on a team instead of just myself while listening. My eye sight also nosedived at that magical age. Got through cataloging my bin of round plates while watching the stream and drinking coffee so thanks for streaming.

Gunsmoke used to be what my mother used to put the kids asleap. Well it worked except my mom had to turn the radio off. It's been 73 years. I have watched but no sign from passed on friends.

Great Series..When well done, Radio Episodes such as "Gunsmoke"" portray Mental Images that can outrival any TV Broadcast Images. Just close your eyes and let the Actors Voice and the serie's Script "paint" the best image ever for you to enjoy!
