Session Three: Hayagriva and War (protecting container and contents). Led by Miffi Maxmillion at Langri Tangpa Centre, Brisbane, over Easter 2024.
A compassion buddha for difficult times - the protector Hayagriva helps dispel inner, outer and secret obstacles. In the external world, the fierce love and compassion of Hayagriva cuts through social hatred, media disinformation, and individual aggression. Internally, Hayagriva protects from the wrong conceptions of true existence, the self-cherishing thought, and all obscurations and negative imprints.
Everyone is welcome to come to this retreat! As a protector practice we can all recite the prayers and make offerings together. If you did receive the initiation from Lama Zopa Rinpoche in 2018 (the last initiation that he gave in Australia) this practice will be especially meaningful.
Each retreat session will also include a detailed Speech Blessing - a powerful protection in itself - as well as guided visualisation, reciting the protector praises, and personal dedications.
