Be Your Own Therapist CLASS 6 (2024)
CLASS 6
Led by Miffi Maxmillion, registered FPMT teacher at Langri Tangpa Centre, Australia.
Hosted by the Buddhist Center, Thubten Norbu Ling, USA.
These open-ended 60-minute discussions are an easy-going introduction to the Buddhist approach to the mind. Participants learn how to pay attention to, identify and then unpack the thoughts that inform our emotions in day-to-day life and learn how to reconfigure them, rather than focusing on the event or person that triggered them. This is the key to success in Buddhist practice. As Lama Zopa Rinpoche says, “We can mold our mind into any shape we like.”

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm! yes, you can have a 'permanent' mandala offering on your altar, but then you still need to make one in your lap each day to 'refresh' it! Often the ones on the altar are elaborate, and people roll up dollar notes into cones and have them sticking out - it looks quite fantastic! - Miffi

What you are propagating here is does not align with Buddhist principles, and I ask you to refer to the Metta meditation chant - www.buddhanet.net/chant-metta.htm However you are free to believe Maudgalyayana is Black, but to put the blame on "white washing" to promote this ideal would be heavily frowned upon in the community, thanks and much love.
