Astana Conference on Primary Health Care Policy & Practice | Political Economy Of PHC Since Alma-Ata

The “International Conference on Primary Health Care Policy and Practice: Implementing for Better Results” took place in Astana on 23 October 2023, hosted by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and co-organized with the WHO Regional Office for Europe and UNICEF.
📙The Observatory launched its PHC Primer during Plenary 3 of this conference. The session recorded here offers a preview of the upcoming “Primary Health Care Primer: A Synthesis of Global Evidence”, while also drawing on country experiences to examine the political economy factors that can either support or impede PHC reforms.
