It's, uh, not going to convince Vinny to play a 100+ hour VN like it did me (thank god), but the humor stands on it's own and it's easy enough to parse the "mystery" and Umineko-esquse elements since your knowledge of the Simpsons will bridge the gap in "oh, that's how that works." etc. Honestly more Simpsons knowledge and less 07th knowledge may probably make for a better time, assuming they have no fear of huge spoilers for something they don't intend to ever play.
