Thank you, Yonaton! Your opening comments are absolutely brilliant!
I have for decades pondered how the Shoah could have occurred. What drove an educated and civilized country and culture to this murderous madness.
But your explanation connects the dots along with all the other historical, political and societal theories.
    Excellent discussion, gentlemen. Mahalos! 🤙🇮🇱🇺🇲

Even the horrendous challenge by the Slaves of Allah the other day to the Israelis to come kill their children seems to not have put a dent in the adulation of the "Palestinian" gang that seems to grow daily. I am 80 and always wondered how the Holocaust could have happened. (I grew up in a town with a large Jewish population, my friends, their families, my teachers, doctors, etc.) Now, sadly, I know. (I am, by the way, so proud of the decision I made at age 20 to study Objectivism, it has enriched and even saved my life and today stands tall against all the b.s. being spread since 10/7/23!)

This has to be one of your best discussions! You've given us a lot to think about and a lot of recommended reading too. Thank you! Michael, hope your son will be safe. Question: What do you think about the kibbutz as an example of a successful collectivist endeavour and its role in the building of Israel?

Great discussion on collectivism. Yes Naxi and Communists are so similar, but people dont see it!

There are a generation of people who were never taught history so they don't even know what lessons the past have taught us.These people are not taught how to think objectively and critically or most importantly individualistically.

Just FYI, there is no such thing as a social contract. That notion is a rationalisation to justify the initiation of force against the very people the government is set up to defend.

Regarding Kennedy. I heard a video once where he said ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for the freedom of man. I have never found it again and don't know where he may have delivered that version.

We never stop learning more about that nightmare state. Sadly, too many never actually "learn".
