If you have a 2016 Honda like me get this R-1234yf can because it works! Do not get the other can because the hose will not fit the lower pressure pipe & you will waste your money. It cooled my car down instantly & it read my AC pressure accurately. Took me less than 10 min to recharge it and saved me so much money. Total it cost me $161 w/ tax. I’m tellin y’all this is a real review because I was suffering in this heat. This video saved me and my pockets
Hey i have the same car. But i am bit confused whether to buy this or change my parts related to AC (which parts i dont know ) . So my question is , does this seals the leakage if your condenser has any leakage ?
@@shubhammann9295 It will work. But Honda extended the warranty on condensers because they were manufactured poorly. Take it to any Honda dealership and pay the diagnostic fee. If its condenser and isnt from something hitting it or compressor seal honda covers all charges and refund the diagnostic. Both warranty's were extended to 10 years.
Yeah, this is the direction new vehicles are moving. 80% of new cars in the US have this refrigerant with more adding it every year. Eventually all with have this as is the case in Europe and 134a won't be used.
Fixed the A/C problem on my 2018 Honda CR-V. The R-1234yf product was 3 times the cost of the 134a, but way cheaper (and easier) than going to my Honda dealer. Still have half a can of refrigerant in case I need to recharge again. 👍👍
Your crv 2018 wasn’t blowing cold air at all, I took my car to the dealer to investigate a weird sound. It was working before but now doesn’t blow cold air at all only hot/room temp
I must say that I've been using your products for years on several different cars and I'm very pleased with the results! Always super cold air after filling up. Excellent product! I highly recommend it.
Question to AC PRO, after screw on the can and hookup the coupler to the low-pressure port, there's air in the hose, how do I purge that air before squeeze the trigger? Don't want to push those air into the system and have issues later on.
2016 Honda Civic, I too bought the 134 (wrong) can at first. my shop doesn’t have the tools to test the system for the AC leak that I have. So they said if I bought the can((1234)I could bring it to the shop and they would charge it for $60.00. So all said and done $162 for the can and $60 for the install. Not too bad. Last year a different shop charged me about $300 and I thought my AC was fixed. Until 2 months later.
I have a question about the air conditioning, in my car the air from the middle air intakes is relatively cool, the air from the driver's intake is more warm, what could be the reason?
the r-1234yf version is a bit expensive but compared to paying a shop to recharge it, it's definitely well worth the investment. Did it all myself on my 2017 Tahoe and now the ac cools as it should especially with summer rollin in soon. 👍
did you have to pull a vacuum on it, i also have a 2017 tahoe im guessing you also had a condenser leak at the welds. i see it was a year ago still blowing cold? ive gotten quotes for 390-570 for a recharge.
I have a 1234YF system, but the cheap Amazon gauge doesn't fit. I bought this in hope it does, I know it's not R134A, I have a can of that and its too large. I am positive I am plugging into the low pressure port as well.
I just finished refilling mine, it was super easy after following this video. I have the same car and it’s been blowing hot air since I bought it but even tho it’s hella expensive, it’s very worth the purchase. 🤝
AC is blowing hot air. I know for certain I am needing a recharge, but I just came from a video stating one had to vacuum out the old freon. Would this be true in my case if I am just topping it off? Please any help is appreciated.
If I change out my AC Condensor on my 2017 Silverado and need to refill with the 1234yf, will these cans be suitable or do I need to go to the dealership?
Not sure what adaptor you're referring to, but it's illegal to put 1234yf in a 134a system or 134a in a 1234yf system. The 134a and 1234yf gauges not only have a different coupler on the end of the gauge, but the threaded piece the can screws into is also not compatible.
Do you have to worry about ambient air temps these days with these kits? I know you had to dial that in, in the past. I have a R1234yf system that I'm looking to get a can for.
Yes, the pressure in the system will increase as ambient air temperature increases. Pressures in a 1234yf system are very similar to that of a 134a system.
does this add it as a liquid or vapor through low side? if you're adding through low side you ideally want to add a vapor as too much filling too much liquid too fast can slug the compressor
It is added as a gas if you add with the gauge on top. Shake well to mix the additives/oil with the refrigerant. Do not turn over the can when filling or you will slug liquid refrigerant into your system.
There is a plastic spacer between the trigger and canister that the directions say to remove, but I cannot for the life of me get it off. Any suggestions? I just keep twisting and pulling and it won't come apart from trigger assembly
My 2006 Sienna was not cold so I tried using this. Not sure if I'm doing it right. I attached the gauged on and it went all the way to the Yellow side even before pressing any freon. Please advise.
used it on a 2012 Honda Fit, at first it would not go in. Had to press down on the fitting to make contact with the car valve stem. Then it worked. emptied entire contents , weighed before and after, 13.4 ounces difference, not the 20 oz it claims to have.
SInce the cost is so high, Can we use your product in the parking lot to first tell us the current pressure in our system before squeezing the trigger so that we can return it if our car is indicating that the pressure is already in the green or beyond the green indicating some type of other issue. I think most of us need to diagnose first with a gauge and then decide the next step.
We recommend with all our products for you to check the pressure first before using it. The retailer should then take the product back if you return it without using any of the refrigerant.
Hey i want to buy it But i am bit confused whether to buy this or change my parts related to AC (which parts i dont know ) . So my question is , does this seals the leakage if your condenser has any leakage ?
This product only contains rubber stop leak. If there's a seal in the condenser where gas is leaking from, then it can work for that, but if it's a metal leak it will not offer a solution. We do have an A/C Pro Super Seal product for 1234yf vehicles that works for metal leaks. www.acprocold.com/product/a-c-pro-super-seal-a-c-treatment-metal-rubber-stop-leak-for-r-1234yf-vehicles-1-5-oz/

It would be impossible to add in 134a to a system that came with 1234yf since the fittings are completely different (by law/regulation). You may need to add 1234yf.
My 2020 Civic with the R234yf system is blowing cool air. I think it’s low on coolant. Would this right here bring my A/C to start blowing cold air again?
Yes, this is the product to use for that, but your 2020 vehicle is very new to have lost enough refrigerant to require a recharge. Should also be under warranty.
Looks like your vehicle uses R-1234yf. To confrim that's the case, look under the hood for a sticker detailing the refrigerant type. That's the best way to check. You must use a product that has the same gas as is in your vehicle.
How long does a can last? I went from below 20 to 45. A few days later I checked again and dropped to below 30. I tried refilling it again and only got to 33-35. It still feels like there's stuff in the can but it stopped filling.
It was $150 for the can with the gauge. Crazy price for something that probably cost $10 to make. I get it, the dealer would charge $300-400 for the same thing, but holy crap.

No it is not that simple as described or should I say the process for adding the refrigerant is very loosely treated in this video. There is a big difference in the way you read the gauge with compressor off or on and read the “real” static pressure to determine if your system is actually low. This should be treated with more respect to the balance of us that are not familiar with the correct process. Yes, a monkey can shake a can and press the trigger but knowing how to interpret the gauge correctly is missing in this video.
Are you sure you're on the low side port and you have the right refrigerant for your vehicle. If your vehicle uses R-1234yf and you buy an R-134a product it won't fit. Likewise, if you're on the high side port and not the low side port (between compressor and evap) it won't connect. The ports are standard across all vehicles and we meet that standard so if it doesn't fit one of the above has happened.
