    Another great video, Claudia! You ask such well informed questions. I love how you ask open ended follow-up questions. Although the product may be fantastic, I’m wary due to the overstated claims in this video. Of course, especially reversing the triangle of youth isn’t possible with their product. Hi Jennifer, thank you for your kind and thoughtful comment!
      I agree with you, I don’t think that a skin care product can bring back the triangle of youth. Often this company owners are so passionate about their products, but we is the consumer have to be a bit skeptical. That being said, so I have really enjoyed these products.

      Happy 2024!
      It’s really helpful to know that you’ve been enjoying their products. It makes sense that they would work. Do you think that it would be OK to layer their C.A.R.E. product with One Skin? I stocked up on One Skin during their holiday sale. I’ve been using One Skin for about three weeks now, I can see some minimal improvement on my face and neck. So far, the biggest improvement from One Skin is in how I feel. I’ve been using their body product daily, I think it is bringing down my systemic inflammation. I just turned 52 a few days before Christmas and have ME/CFS, and an autoimmune illness, I have high levels of inflammation. I would be interested to know how other people feel with consistent use of the one skin face, eye, and body products. I use their cleanser on my face & body before applying. Just over the past three days I can’t believe how much better I’ve been feeling. I’ve also been using my new Therasage sauna for a month now…thank you for the recommendation! ❤️
      Not related to the new generation of skincare products, just an added comment about microneedling. Over the past two years, I’ve tried micro needling three times at home using extreme care with cleanliness, and it has not gone well. With so many people having autoimmune conditions, I think awareness needs to be raised that the level of skin trauma caused with micro needling is significant for people with autoimmune conditions, and is not recommended. I think whenever a blanket statement is made for everyone to check with their doctor for everything ahead of time, it’s largely ignored. I think maybe a comment saying something like: if you have a chronic health condition, you should consult a doctor before causing any trauma to your body. Thanks for considering this, I think most of your viewers have probably found you through your microneedling videos.
      I really appreciate your evidence-based approach to healthy aging.
      And one last, but definitely not least comment. I hope your health is going well, it sounds like it was quite a scare, maybe a year and a half ago for you? I think your viewers would love to know in a follow up comment in a video how you are doing. We, your viewers, genuinely care about you! 😘

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@JenniferPayne-br4jv I completely agree with you as far as autoimmune diseases and micro needling. In fact, I’m planning on talking about that more in an upcoming video.
      I’m glad to hear you’re loving your sauna
      And yes, I definitely think you can use post products together. It might be a bit overkill, so maybe use one in the morning and one at night just to stretch them out a bit since neither are cheap.
      Thank you for asking about my well-being! I’m doing much better. And I can definitely talk about it more in an upcoming video as well.

    Another fascinating interview. Thank you, Claudia. I went a little further and would like to share what Michael Kummer said about the preservative used in the 2 products he tested, (the moisturizer and the hyperbaric mask). It is good to be informed of any “potential” side effect.
    “What Young Goose Could Improve…
    The only downside to the two skincare products we tested for this review is one of the ingredients they both share: phenoxyethanol, which is a preservative with potentially toxic side effects under certain circumstances (that you likely won’t encounter with normal use).
    Specifically, studies on animals have shown that phenoxyethanol can be toxic to the meibomian gland epithelial cells located in your eyes. Additionally, phenoxyethanol is suspected to have endocrine-disrupting properties when ingested. Some people have also reported allergic reactions (including skin irritation, rashes, eczema and hives).
    Unfortunately, the evidence on whether or not phenoxyethanol is safe is mixed. The FDA thinks it is, but that doesn’t mean much to me. On the other hand, the European Commission on Health and Food Safety thinks so, too, when used at a 1% concentration or less. Both Young Goose products I tested contain between 0.15-0.25% phenoxyethanol (much less than the safe limit).
    Additionally, independent reviews of the safety of phenoxyethanol from 1990 and 2019 both concluded that when applied topically in concentrations of 1% or less, there is no safety concern.
    Even though phenoxyethanol appears to be safe when used topically by adults in low amounts, I hope Young Goose considers replacing this preservative with a healthier alternative. That’s because there is always a residual risk of side effects that might only come to light in a few years or even decades.”

      Thank you, I was going to mention the same thing. I suffer from meibomian gland disorder and have very few meibomian glands left. I simply cannot take any risk. In fact, a recent study (2020, Jingyi Wang et al) concluded that Phenoxyethanol is extremely toxic to the meibomian glands "at concentrations less than those approved for human use". I have to steer clear of any cosmetics products containing this preservative and that's an extremely challenging task.

      Hi, I’m glad you found this interesting. I agree with you, I, too, am trying to not have 50 different products on my counter. So I have tried quite a few of other things, I really like the moisturizer, and as they said at the end, that’s a great product if anyone wants to just try one thing
      I also really like the mask and have purchased it, but it is expensive. Lastly, I like senolttic serum, but again it is expensive. And I really like the lip gloss. So if you just wanted to try one product, I would definitely go for the moisturizer, I think it will give you the most pay for your money, and we can always use a moisturizer.

    A few months ago I started using Renue Blue (serum with liposomal glutathione, NAD+, NMN, NR, and methylene blue) after trying Bluelene. It doesn't hurt anything, but I still don't see any changes. I'll probably buy two more bottles before deciding if I like it or not. It's possible that it's just delaying aging rather than fixing my minor issues. In other words, it's preventing things from getting worse. The serum is nice with all the other treatments I do like CoolPeel, chemical peels, micro needling, EZGel, DIY and pro microcurrent, and LED.

    Claudia - have you ever done a demo of, or informational video on, Skeen Patch?
    I came across this the data below this video and am intrigued by it.
    I can't quite figure out, though, if the patches 'wear out'- and need to be repurchased periodically?
    Can you please give me some feedback on these devices?
    Loved this Y/G interview, btw. May look into trying their skin care line.
    I have not checked their pricing yet, but my impression from comments is that it's pricey.

      I don’t have a demo, but it is super easy. All you do is put it in your mouth every third day for up to two hours. You start with the 3 mm and wear that for two months. If you feel tightness, go slow and work your way up to the two hours. After two months, you use the 5 mm and do the same. Then you take a four months break, used 5 mm for one month, four months break and so on

      Good devices are not a replacement for good skin care.

    • @amitayeshel7620
      @amitayeshel7620 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Your preference for investing in facial care devices like microcurrent, radiofrequency, and Hi-Fu is understandable, especially considering their longevity compared to a single tube or vial of skincare product. However, it's important to consider the complementary nature of high-tech devices and quality skincare products in a holistic skincare approach.
      Complementary Benefits: Devices like microcurrent and radiofrequency offer targeted treatment and stimulate skin renewal, but they don't replace the daily nourishment, protection, and maintenance provided by skincare products. Both approaches are complementary, and when used together, can enhance overall skin health and appearance.
      Role of Quality Skincare: Products like those we offer at Young Goose are formulated with scientifically-proven active ingredients that work at a cellular level. For example, their C.A.R.E. Moisturizer contains ingredients like NAD+ Nobel and Matrixyl 3000, which help lessen the appearance of lines and wrinkles, activate anti-aging genes, and protect from environmental toxins. Similarly, the Hyperbaric Mask with ingredients like vitacell and peptides restores fatigued skin and improves complexion. These products provide daily maintenance and enhance the effects of your devices by nourishing and protecting the skin.
      Cost-Effectiveness and Longevity: While the initial cost of skincare products may seem high, it's important to consider their effectiveness and how long they last. Young Goose products, for instance, can last three to four months or longer, making them a cost-effective choice for continuous skin care. Also, regular use of quality skincare products can prevent or delay the need for more invasive and expensive treatments in the future.
      Safety and Customizability: Skincare products are generally safe for most users and can be tailored to specific skin types and needs, unlike devices which may have more risks and require specific training to use correctly.

I read reviews on their website, I do't want to look paranoid but they don't seem authentic to me, there. are no negative reviews, only 5 stars and language is very marketing like. I hope I am wrong.

    • @amitayeshel7620

      We actually use actives drived from algae, and not the whole plant. I guarantee these will not break you out, on the contrary, they help with detoxification. We also have a 30 money back guarantee so if you find out that they do, we will certainly take them back. As for the reviewes- we simply delete the bad ones. Just kidding. I do think we have some non 5 star ones but what I think is that most people either write a good review or we take such good care of their complaints they just don't write anything at all.

    Did I hear correctly that she said that they didn’t actually have any data to show that their products work? I really find it hard to believe that their product can actually cause lifting of the jowls and it seemed like you questioned that as well, Claudia. I also didn’t feel like he really answered the question of what makes their product distinctive from OneSkin as they both seem to make the same claims about senescent cells. I dunno…..I feel like they grabbed onto the current “IT” product (NAD) and just threw it into skincare products but that doesn’t mean that it will work topically. If you use this product Claudia, I’d love to be able to see your “before” and “after” to truly be able to see if this is a product that works and not just something that is grabbing onto a trend.

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Lorraine, I think it is always good to be sceptical. However, they actually have done punch biopsies, which is about as good as you can get when testing skincare.
      As far as Oneskin, I think what Amitay meant to say is that they use different ingredients to address the same problem, as well as that they have more than just one ingredient that is supposed to attack the problem
      I am trying some of their products and really like them, but as far as before and after pictures, I am not even going to attempt to take any, as so much can influence the outcome. For example, we are moving overseas in two weeks, and the time difference, stress, change in setting and lighting... all of that would of course influence the way my skin looks

      Here are a few novel ingredients we use and mention:
      Topical Senolytics- We use algae-derived actives to lower senescent burden in the skin and improve wrinkles and laxity
      NAD+ Nobel (Liposomal nano-sized NAD+ Precursors)- Raise skin NAD+ Levels and allow your genes and mitochondria function in a a more youthful state
      Patented Fermented Resveratrol- 50 times more bioavailable than conventional resveratrol, which stimulates cellular renewal and DNA repair.
      hope this helps :)
