In today's video I use Engineer only, it was a difficult challenge as I used no supports this time around which greatly made this challenge harder. let me know if you have Engineer in the comments!

for all who’s wondering. accel and engi are on par right now. engi deals more damage and costs less (in game) without support, while accel deals way more damage with commander. why? engineer’s sentries do not get affected by support buffs, or debuffs. so the only thing affected by support is engineer itself. accel’s targeting is bad as well, targeting big ones, while letting small ones past. on the other hand, engineer’s sentries don’t have hidden detection at all. in conclusion, accel is better to buy first imo, and get engi if you want. new update, engi has WAY more damage than accel, sentries have hd, so i’d recommend to buy engi!
Bro, people would buy Accel first anyways, If I had 2500 gems and go for engi instead of accel, I would be so annoyed that I need to grind more further, so I just buy accel 😂

they should make engi get an overdrive ability that makes the turrets 3x strong with increased fire rate but the hp goes away like 5x fast, sacrificing the turrets for like 10 sec of massive damage. a strategic ability
sounds like overclocking the sentries to me

or you could make commander work with the sentries

Engineer is the tower that just seems to always be compared to a dps monster despite the fact it feels more of an all rounder, the 6 upgrades are all great however, when we’re comparing engineer to the recently nerfed dps monster that is accelerator, you can really see that the buff was more of a ‘shut up we did something’ upgrade, not a ‘we made it better than accel’ one. Engineer still holds its ‘Jack of all trades’. But which would you use? A tower that is never fully lives up to your expectations, or one that still shreds any enemy in the game?
It shouldn’t have costed 4500 in the first place. Tbh gems shouldn’t have been added in the first place unless there is some kind off conversion system between gems and coins

When engi got its 4th sentry back they lowered the dps of the sentry’s so it actually didn’t get a huge buff
it got nerfed at max lv because it now takes longer to reach it's max dps since there's more sentries and require more scraps
1:02 if you were smart you would know it was the sentry due to the fact that it has significantly more range than the engi itself
if you were smart AND would have some eyes, you would see that the bullet went from the air, which happened because the sentry actual model wasn't existing "yet" and the game spawned the projectile in position 0, 0, 0 or something like that
@@cta1403 every 1st bullet when a sentry is placed and there is currently a zombie in range will be like that.
Sentry damage has been decreased. I calculated that even with 4 sentries now it actually led to a decrease in sentry dps. There has been an increase in Engineer dps to balance it out, which benefits it when using commander and dj, as well as helping against hiddens and flyings, but cannot affect its sentry build time which is why nobody cares about engineers dps alone.

Old 3 sentries 303 dps
engi was always pretty good. its buff was mainly for its early game

Engi is an all-rounder tower, meaning she can do early, mid and late game very well.
A weakness pf engi is that if u place them close to other units it wont have space for sentries
So technically the sentries are way weaker now. They no longer have over 100 dps and instead only have dps in the 90s which is not even close to their original dps. But the 4th sentry does make up for this along with the fact that the base engineer dps is much higher. (I don’t know engi’s dps off the top of my head)

Now engineer is even better dealing 60 dmg on max lvl and sentries have hd on lvl 5 - 6. 450 dps is wild

Max level sentries were nerfed to compensate for the 4th sentry. So engi has about 380 dps compared to what would have been almost 420-430 dps if they weren't. Engi's dps increased by about 20-30 from this which is kinda sad.
didnt perform as well as rocketeer before final boss and i know rocketeer had supports but rocketeer is way easyer to get then engineer and engineer isnt buffed as much by commander anyways

@@wabiboyengi for hc & event, its not for main dps, can save 4 slots (early hd, not main dps, flying detection, medic for 1-2 attacks, lead detection), i can easily get to 50 wave with engi but with accel need 2 more detections for hc. Accel and engi duo the best for hc like accel = dps, engi = early, mid and 2nd late defense.

I have engineer tower but it's very bad at early it cannot defend hiddens and hidden boss so you need 2nd DPs tower that detects hidden

its an around good tower, its more obvious in modes like hc or events were hiddens aren’t the only threat. it preformed quite well too, idk how broken you want it to be but honestly it seems good right now
@@Elite-lolyeah it’s has stun immunity, and it’s an at best pretty mid starter tower, but it has bad hd and no buffs from commander which evens it out, and even then it shouldn’t cost anywhere near 4500 gems

15th btw engi finally got buff cuz I was waiting for that update
its still not enough, engineer is so bad for its price that the level 100 tower(pursuit) is better than it, the most expensive hardcore tower just to get beaten by pursuit is not balanced, pursuit is cheaper per 1 and also has effect from commander, whilst also not able to get stunned and has almost double the placemenet limit
if they made the sentries able to get buffed by commander and has hd then it would prob be better for its tremendous price, it would also make sense because turret has both hd and able to get buffed by commander
Engi buffed by commandeer all 6 has same dpa, yes 40% less money needed, also pursuit is AWFUL at anything but final boss dps lmao, i would rather use engi who can also do early, mid and late without leaking
