Im a new watcher and have been only watching the old videos, so when i click on this one and saw Melissa pregnant I actually cried! She looks so happy and I send you little family many blessings!!!
I have a weird dilemma. I grew up without a father and a very independent and masculine dominant mother. My mothers signature phrase was “you don’t need no man and never rely on a man.” My mom was a very hardworking women, at work and at home. So when I saw her homemaking, it was still in a very masculine energy. Now that I am a stay at home mom, and do in fact rely on a man, I am still stuck in my masculine in some ways. I find I am taking on a completely masculine energy in home making . It makes no sense. I see the day as to do lists like Jake mentioned, I am still hustling but just in getting dishes done or dinner made. I am burnt out, guarded, fatigued, and yeah I totally feel my joy and pleasure is hard to reach. I can’t stop gaining weight, and I feel more fatigued then I ever did while working. Do you have any tips for feeling safe and surrendering while being a SAHM?
Ok I have a story. I have never been provided for by a man my entire life. When I first got pregnant in 2021, my boyfriend and I at the time were in shitty circumstances. I thought I had to get a job right away, even though I was struggling so bad with morning sickness (except it lasted all day). I still remember the day I got up very sick and pregnant to go apply at CVS. It was the morning and I got all ready, my boyfriend was up ready to drive me I looked over and said I really just don’t want to go. We got in the car and started driving, I said I can’t and I don’t want to go my boyfriend immediately responded okay you don’t have too, don’t worry. In this moment I swear I surrendered to the universe. Soon after we got married, and he got a great federal job which he still is at 2 years later. My husband stepped into the ultimate provider role and I really do think it was because I surrendered to it. I inspired it along with my daughter. I thank god for that day. ❤
Congratulations! A reminder that after the baby is born is often an even more emotional time (the 4th trimester) with hormones going crazy, sleep deprivation and the trauma her body has been through after giving birth. I think often because both parents are tired, many women feel the care and attention they may have received from their partner during pregnancy goes out the window with the reality of the baby home. I recommend talking about how the labor will be shared and how you will hold space for her and each other during those rough times. Sending you both much love. ❤
wow, you are married and have a baby on the way! Congratulations this is such amazing news. Been off instagram for years now, really great to see both of you together and come so far. Much love!!
Yay. Great episode together, I can see where I can soften more and be more in my feminine. I love what you mentioned about how we're showing up going to work if our intention is to work from home or be provided for. I love that. It's all in our energy and who we're showing up as. Thank you.
I can relate to this. I am working so hard to retire from my 9-5 and I feel stressed and burnt out. I feel very much in my masculine and so far from my feminine. I want so bad to be a homemaker and to lean into my femininity as a mother and homemaker. It’s been so tiring try to retire from the 9-5.
New here! You both are GLOWING! Congratulations on your bundle of joy! ❤ I’m really trying my best to transition from the work life to wife life. Could y’all please do a video on how to be approachable as a feminine woman in public and on Instagram/Facebook. I get a lot of DM’s from low caliber men and men who I’m not attracted to. It almost hurts my feelings lol! I am just now getting some (occasional) attention from more masculine men on social media (since I have stepped more and more into my feminine) but never a follow or DM or if it’s on Facebook, I will get a blue like and not a love! I am always so flattered when this finally happens but also sad when he does not send a message. In real life there will be a masculine man starring at me and may even come closer to my area. This has happened at coffee shop and at my sisters apartment pool. I get the feeling that these more masculine men have bigger egos that come with a bigger fear of rejection. What ripped and successful man wants to potentially get rejected from a woman? So I get it to an extent. Yet I have witnessed some stunning girls I’ve come across one whom is now married to an nba player and this other woman who was boasting about how every time she goes out, men flock to her like she’s a celebrity! What is the IT factor that makes a man just go to approach that woman no matter how fearful he may be? There’s got to be something! I feel like everybody has come across that “kryptonite” person (I know I have) that makes you want to lose the ego to get close to them. Would love a males perspective/answer for this! Great video happy I found this channel! ❤
I think a lot of these things can also be used in raising sons. I have an 11 year old who my husband and I r training to one day be a man, a husband and leader. Just listening to this has been great for me as a mom to remind me in how I say things when trying to teach him - a soft answer turneth away wrath, I can still teach him what I’m trying to get across in how to treat girls his age, ladies in authority etc. and I don’t have to yell to get my point across. (Hopefully that all made sense haha)
There's an awful lot in this video on how the woman can accommodate the man. You need to watch that. Also, be careful with the talk on him "checking" her. It's getting a bit infantilizing, and the woman is a grown-ass adult, and the man can also be dick and need correcting. Ultimately, the healthiest way to see this is that within the realm of equality, the man and the woman serve each other, but in different ways: she surrenders and supports, and he leads as in acts of service. Now, this should not be taken to ridiculous extents and become legalistic since there are times she needs to lead and he needs to support.

Does she have a page or course! Single mother of 3boys I could learn a thing or two from here!!
Why won't the man stop texting and want to meet after three weeks?
