They did say in Super that Beerus and Supreme Kai do a terrible job at keeping balance between creation and destruction in Universe 7 though, don't they? Since Beerus naps for centuries at a time and Supreme Kai rarely knows what he's doing.
AlexTenThousand im sure daikaio or the grand supreme kai(fat kai) was the actual creator the the others were governing the sectors of the universe so when grand supreme kai "died" nobody really knew about creation or what he did. Thats why the supreme kai we have is clueless about everything.

YMMV on whether they are main villains, but he killed a shit load of RR Army guys. It's really only in DBZ where he develops a reluctance to kill. He didn't want to kill Piccolo Jr. because it would also kill Kami and render the dragon balls useless.

On the "Where was Beerus during Buu's rampage?" question, I don't think it's been explicitly said what he was doing during that time but it's generally accepted that he was most likely sleeping.
What I think would be interesting would be if they revealed that Beerus became the God of Destruction _after_ Buu’s rampage, his predecessor being killed when Buu killed his/her life-linked Kai during his rampage. And then Goku (being Goku) would wish him/her back, he/she isn’t impressed with Beerus for whatever reason, and we get an Ex-God of Destruction vs a current God of Destruction fight.
They also seemed to forget that there was one Kaioushin that would still be alive in case Shin hadn't survived, safe and sound sealed in the Z Sword, and put there by Beerus himself no less..

Beerus was likely asleep, as has been said, and as long as there's at least one Kaioushin alive Beerus will be linked to them. Hakaishin are not linked to a specific Kaioushin if there are multiple for the universe, as is the case with Universe 7. Which means that even if Shin was absorbed/killed by Buu, Beerus would still be alive since Rou Kaioushin (Old Kai) was sealed away in the Z Sword by Beerus himself. Sure I think Beerus did it because the old perv was getting on his nerves, but he inadvertently gave himself a life insurance policy in doing so.

I always hated the idea of Goku wanting Gohan to finish Cell off quickly when he was the one who let Vegeta live and gave Frieza energy so he could live. It seems very out of character for Goku.

Not really. Absorption was only beneficial if he caught them off guard or if he absorbed people in bulk. Plus its supposed to be his perfected form so there would be no point in it. Plus he has the ability to spit out cell juniors which seems like an equally useful ability.

Once an Saiyan reach a certain level in power Zenkai doesn't give any more power(Ultimate Gohan did not become stronger after being healed from his trashing by Buutenks) also in GT Cell does try to absorbe Goku but of course it depend wether or not you think it's canon

I think in both the movie Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Super they established that Beerus literally slept through the Buu saga.
In fact, it was a plot point in the Goku Black saga, where Future Supreme Kai and Future Elder Kai (being that he was in the Z sword still) both died to either Dabura and/or Buu, while fighting along side Future Trunks, thus killing Beerus and putting Whis into stasis until the next Supreme Kai arrived. Ironically, in the manga, Future Trunks apparently was a Supreme Kai apprentice, but never was able to fully become one and only knew some of the abilities.
Also, as for why Whis would probably not have interfered (such as waking Beerus or personally assisting) when Majin Buu was fighting Supreme Kai, Whis and Vados seem kind of indifferent to their universe's destruction or the death of their god of destruction, as they ultimately would not really be affected by it; they'd go into a dormant state until the next god of destruction arose.

Having watched this after DB Super ended, my first thought was "Lani's going to be so upset..."😅
I swear to god that is not Dameon Clarke, but then I hear all his lines after Trunks and it sounds like it IS Dameon Clarke.... Did this game pull an Ultimate Tenkaichi Frieza and mix his lines in with Travis Willingham??? Dameon has that sinister voice and Travis kinda just does the deep tone of the voice and nothing more.
Supreme Kai probably would have tried to stop cell if he found out about his power, but there's a decent chance he would lose (I was under the impression Supreme Kai was under SSj2, but above pretty much everyone else beforehand, so probably somewhere around Cell, at the very least after Cell came back with a powerup). Also, Supreme Kai would probably notice once Cell started destroying planets at a faster rate than Frieza (U7 Gods seem mostly non-interference with mortals, but take out any threat on Supreme Kai level or above)
Also, I'm guessing Beerus was sleeping, through Buu and who's figured it wasn't his responsibility, but given the line that "if the GoD and supreme kais die the angel freezes" you'd think Whis would at least pay a little attention. Then again, maybe he's lived so long the concept of freezing just doesn't scare him (plus angels aren't supposed to interfere without the god's permission I think). Also, I always figured Buu was a sort of destructive force exclusive to U7 that just somehow happened, so Beerus never really found out about Buu's rampage because it wasn't a naturally
One thing that did always feel a little weird was that it felt like Gohan was basically a side character in the android arc (the closest he gets to a fight is Hitting Dr Gero. once to free Piccolo)
The whole "not cursing" thing is so funny, like.....90% of my dragonball has been neutered by various censorship, as a man in his early 30s ( i'm older than Masako, but younger than Ben), but I have very quickly adapted to the fact that they swear in the modern version of the dubs. getting blasted to nothing and saying "Darn you" is fucking hilarious and really takes me out of the moment XD
I dunno Cus from universe 10 seemed nice to me. I mean she was actually... y'know... SAD that her universe was erased.
Another reason why Dragon Ball fighting games are incredibly stupid idea - look at how awkward and sluggish they are. I mean, this is not the PS1 level awfulness, but it still feels like characters are comatose. Compare that to not-fighting games like Xenoverse or Supersonic Warriors that actually feel like real fast paced Dragon Ball fights...

There is something about the the Cell Games tournament that I never understood. Why didn't Goku use Instant Transmission to ring out Cell. A quick and easy fix, right? In my mind, he should have ringed him out, saved the earth and then, since he would have won and secured the preservation of the planet, then fight Cell in the slobberknocker that we all would love or see...without planet annihilation being on the table.
I think Burst Limit is the last game Damon Clarke voiced Cell until Xenoverse. Travis William would do Cell for the rest of the DBZ games until Xenoverse.
Vegeta did do final flash against recoome btw. It was just blue and he didn't say the name. Also that Db super theory is my main belief, among many others of things to come in the future arc of super. I definitely am hoping for that and not another Goku wins. Also your lp's are my favorite on TH-cam. This is an underrated game indeed.

If anything beerus was probably napping again when buu was causing problems. They kind of mention it in xenoverse 2.Beerus knows about it but never got around (or forgotten about) to punish him
I don't think the angels in DBS are evil mainly because of Cus' reaction to her God of Destruction being erased. She seemed legitimately upset when he was gone. It's just one of the reasons, though.
I always wondered why vegeta and trunks didn't go back into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber when they lost to cell.
