Wow! You and Ashley certainly have got some stamina. The house was amazing to start off with and you could see it’s potential. I really enjoyed the before and after photos. I can only begin to imagine the “during” processes! We have just had an attic extension done. We are also going to have a wall taken down between the hall and the study, a new kitchen fitted and then a huge attic conversion above the whole house! All before Christmas! Wish us luck. What a fabulous house. It now 'makes sense' and it's so much lighter and brighter than the original. Stylish and brilliant. My husband and I have revamped 2 houses - one Victorian and currently an Edwardian house. Despite the age difference, I suspect the builders and mess are very similar. All good wishes for the project.

It looked like an old people's home before with all those chairs! Love how you have repurposed the rooms to have a wine cellar, office , cinema room and 4th bedroom. They all look stunning. All your bedroom storage looks better in that colour. I also love your new radiators they look sort of art deco and go so well with your house. X

The kitchen, definitely - although the bathroom will be nice as well. We've just received planning approval today for the new entrance and balcony extension, and the kitchen will be part of that project, so that'll be next, I'm excited!

Good luck with all the work, builders and their work are not always the easiest of things to live with, I know you’ll be glad when it’s all over...looking forward to seeing it all ship shape and ticketty boo 👍

Hi Heather, I think we will maybe think about moving in around ten years' time, although we don't have a definite plan. I can't see us staying here into retirement, to be honest, it's too big a house for just the two of us to rattle around in in our old age! :)
Your have such a spacious interesting house. I love it. I love my 3 bed 1 bathroom semi as it’s our home but would also love the space you have especially when my boys were young. My younger son had our box room with just space for a bed & chest of drawers & when he went to uni he loved having a bigger room! Gorgeous house and I’m sure you kitchen will be fabulous when it’s done & I agree a door in your kitchen would be an asset. X
