Wow! This is the first episode without a villain! I'm glad the boss Alyssa was compassionate and understanding of John when he was going through a crisis when his wife was having a cancer.

john and his wife would have been better of in europe you pay like 200 dollars a month for healthcare and then everything is free no benefits needed

Johns boss is so kind and compassionate not to fire him because he is a real gem of a man to be there for his wife even when she was going through breast cancer. Kudos to him.

It's certainly very understanding and magnanimous of the boss to help out her staff in need. That's really, really rare! In today's world of competition no boss woul go out of the way to help her employee in his time of need!

In any given situation its hard yo talk about what's happening in your life but his boss was such a sympathetic woman because she understood what he's going through.

The moral of the story is: Taking a job doesn't always mean getting paycheck after paycheck, or to buy a new dress, it's also about taking a risk for your family. Sick and health , good and bad, we do our job to help our families, even financially, to help our parents pay the bills, giveyour dad a little extra to travel, or even getting medication for your mom. I have a job myself, and I can guarantee this; I know it's hard to be on your feet, to show up to work on time, even to ask your coworkers to cover for you. But let me tell you, it's all worth it, because what you do at your job, matters.

    Really a great boss.
People say you must be smart, clever, pushy etc to get work from people.
I never agreed with that I got work from people by giving them all the support they needed.
    They gave me their best.
Very happy to see this beautiful article just confirming this.
We need to win people hearts .
They will do anything for us.

Great video the boss was very kind and so is the other employee this is what you would call a family business a business that treats all of the employees like family however he should have been open with his boss and I really didn't like that she threatened to fire him without knowing his reason she should really consider her actions a little better before she makes them

Boss is understanding but John is taking advantage, what is going on?? His colleague Jessica is also worried about it, someone needs to get answers!!! Alyssa is holding back firing him, maybe he can still redeem his work ethics and keep working!! Resolution is in sight, maybe there is a positive ending!!! Seems someone in the family needs treatment, more likely!!!

Also this episode pretty much reminds of the first star trek movie from 1979 called star trek trek the motion picture where it didn't feature not one villain in that movie and it still turned out to be a great star trek movie although it was the first star trek movie from 1979

Because some employees take off work for no good reasons, the employer has the right to know why someone is not at work when they should. Trust your employer and tell him/her why you are not able to work like you used to.

This would NEVER happen in the UK. In the UK we are blessed to have the National Health Service- the envy of the world- healthcare for citizens is free from the cradle to the grave and is paid for out of taxes.
