My father and all his ancestors were Jews and my mother and all her ancestors were Catholics. We have always lived together and celebrated both religions equally, in full harmony and respect, just like between cousins, uncles and grandparents. That has never separated us. My sister and I grew up in the Catholic religion, not because the other one was bad, but because in the city where we lived, there was no synagogue and my father was the only Jew for many kilometers around, therefore, on important Easters We celebrated it with the Jewish family where there was a large community.

This is tough because I’ve been in love with people that aren’t Christians and I am. There’s a verse in the Bible that tells us not to be unequally yoked. It’s not a tradition thing. And it’s there for a reason because when people have different ideas or beliefs on eternity, that goes deeper than “forever”. I know it messed with me. There’s just always a reason. There are situations where it works, yes, but rarely.

There’s a difference between Religion & knowing Who God Is. Believing & living for the Lord as One, is what really counts. Marriage is about loving each other, compromising with each other, trusting & having Faith in the One True God that created each one of us! The main thing is to remember that you both need to agree that “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”. Put Him first in your lives, because without Him there’s no way for a Marriage to work in harmony! Jesus is the Key to a happy Marriage! ✝️🙏🕊💞

My wife and I have been happily married for 20 years (known each other for 24 years). We are an intercultural and interfaith couple. I am raised South Indian Hindu Brahmin Tamil. My wife was raised South Vietnamese Roman Catholic. There was a lot of education and compromise on our parts. To say that both sides were shocked when we married was an understatement. Her parents and relatives were more accepting. My relatives in India were okay. I have to credit my father and mother for showing a lot of restraint and being supportive. They were able get a lot of the relatives in India to go along. About the only ones that had problems like this, were only a handful... which is okay, as they are not part of our lives and they missed out on a nice wedding.

There's 2 type of Christians in this world. Those who live for God and his son Jesus, read their Bible and live the way God wants us to live till death. And then there's Lukewarm Christians, that live just like Atheists. They live for this world celebrating tradition Holidays, that doesn't represent God or Jesus. Christmas being one of those Holidays, Jesus is not born on December 25th Christmas is a Pagan Holiday just like Easter the world makes a mockery of God making Christmas all about a Fat overweight clown in a Red suit crawling down a chimney leaving gifts under a tree. And Easter being about a Bunny leaving eggs in hiding places. This world hates God and anything that represents God and his son Jesus Christ. But take heart that those who live for this world, are not a child of God. They'll will never see the Kingdom of Heaven.

Anna and future MIL were also discussing everything including freedom of religion!!! Interreligious harmony should be resolved, their parents need to support them, not ridicule and scorn the couple!!! This is getting out of hand, everything will be awkward especially at family reunions!!! This must end, here and now!!!!

I swear, the number of people who stick steadfast to the rules and laws that were put in place by old dudes that were hardcore power tripping because they were arguably the highest authority in the land at the time...boggles my mind.
Im Christian, but i also recognize that God wants us to evolve and change as a people. He does it with plants and animals, in real time, right in front of our eyes. The only laws he actually gave were the Ten Commandments. Not the extra HOA by laws that some dead bearded dudes thought up while they were bored and drunk.
Dont steal, dont lie, dont cheat on your spouse, dont forget to take a break on sunday, dont sass your parents, dont namedrop God and dont worship anybody else-kinda hurts the big guy's feelings.
You can be a good Christian by doing these. Hell, you don't even need to be a Christian. Just dont be a dick. If there's an afterlife, i dont think theyre going to have a doorman checking to see if you got a member card.

It’s not about just tradition or religion. What a lot people don’t understand unlike other religions, being Jewish is not exactly just a religion. You are not Jewish by choice, you are born Jewish. Jews are a tiny percentage of word population, only 0.02% One can practice Christianity , but they are still Jewish, however a Christian can convert to another religion but it would not change their race. It’s not possible to change someone’s DNA, just the religious affiliation.

BS. Any real Christian knows you can't let your child decide what they wanna be when they grow up because real Christians know that Jesus Christ is the only truth way and life *John 14:6 KJV* so we teach our children the truth because and the bible says to rear our children up in the ways of the Lord and we're obedient to God. This is why the bible says not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers cause they can cause you to compromise your faith *2nd Corinthians 6:14-18 KJV.* Be careful Christians not to let the world influence you and tell you any different than the bible even in skits like these. The devil is busy, be on your guard, read your bibles and stay in the ways of the Lord. *Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV.* No time to be compromising your faith, stand firm in the Lord and stand your ground even if it causes you to miss out on 'love'. Real love is knowing God and believing in Him, obeying Him *1st John 3:23-24 KJV* and Christianity is not a religion it's a relationship with Father God through His Son Jesus Christ by faith in Jesus Christ *Hebrews 11:6 KJV.* What does it profit a man if he gains the world just to lose his own soul? *Mark 8:36 KJV.* Obedience is better than sacrifice *1st Samuel **15:22** KJV.* 🙏

"Real" Christian? What gives you the right to decide what a "real" Christian is? I'm not a parent, but if my children told me that they didn't want to be Christian anymore, I'm not going to force them to stay in the Church, because God doesn't want forced worship.
And I believe that you can tolerate different beliefs without sacrificing your own. I have numerous Jewish relatives, some of whom have Christian spouses, but I never let that influence my faith.
