Sounds unusual but i have heard of the motor turning on the wrong way before but that is extremely rare. If that does happen everything will undo when it starts. Maybe get it checked out and see if thats the issue 👍
@shearingworld8706 it was OK when I purchased the solid drive it did a few biggish jobs then it came loose so I tightened it up and it's come loose again after 3 years again I'm wondering could it be a bad thread on the long core causing the problem ?
Why does my long core keep coming free at the top off were you were screw it in to the bearing unit at the top were you connect to the evo motor it's my 3rd season using it happened first year and just happened again clipped several hundred sheep and not had a problem until now would it be a bad thread why it's coming loose ?

Three speed heniger motor to corrispond with the drive it's on the quick release coupling not the pin version with the added attachment
