Making a Leather Pancake Style Swiss Army Knife Sheath / Deri Bıçak Kılıfı Yapımı

Hi,
In this video I am making a pancake style swiss army knife sheath for belt. I used 2.5 mm vegetable tanned leather for the sheath. Using Wet molding technique is difficult for making this sheath, because the knife is so thick, it takes really so long time, I used clamps and waited for 1 night, and repeated molding several times.

Bu videoda katlanabilir swiss army bıçağım için deri bir bıçak kılıfı yapıyorum. Kılıf için 2.5 mm bitkisel tabaklanmış deri kullandım. Should the button hole have gone the other way around, with the smaller hole on the bottom so the flap would be pulled tight to close and open the flap? Sorry, trying to understand how that should secure.

yes why not need to try. In this way it is quiet strong too, and sheat holds the knife so strong, it can not fall down, even the flap is open. But maybe for bracelets we can try to see if it is more secure. thanks for the review.

no you can cut smaller. I do not remember if i had this piece before or i cut it big. but i agree that it is a waste.
