It’s interesting to think about at the very least, but I suppose it boils down to the old “the heroes are actually evil” troupe.

I'm actually invested in the games story just because it makes no sense, like the Avengers cause collateral damage but if they didn't then there would be nothing left to damage so disbanding them and causing crime to rise is stupid, then you have Kamala who is smarter than Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, and more agile than Captain America and more capable than Thor and has no backstory except she wrote a fanfiction and basically is Marvel's Milkman Superman.
The end mission was really good, but everything leading up to it was a pain and the ending was beyond boring. The last phase of the final boss fight was just a lazy, stale, brain dead QTE fest that lasted 15 seconds. What a let down all around.
The best part of this whole series is that they got so annoyed that they switched the game and recorded that instead. I think that’s a first for this channel.

It's basically when the phospholipid bi-layer becomes bonded to an unstable substance, typically an alkaline fluid, and the cell essentially just falls apart, turning into goo. Happens a lot with poison control cases where the outer lining of the esophagus gets dissolved, usually by a surfactant, like detergents. So if you had an incredibly potent alkaline surfactant agent and found some way to weaponized it, you would indeed make a bomb that turns people to liquid.

Crane flies are completely harmless in their adult stage and they don't eat mosquito or any other insect for that matter. Most species don't eat at all , some sip the nectar of flowers . Pholcidae spiders are actually very useful since they kill other, more dangerous, spiders( and many other pests). They are harmless to humans although some species may start oscillating violently when they are afraid, which could be scary.
If I had to guess, Zach and Tomar were probably not referring to Pholcidae spiders but to Opiliones, also commonly called harvestmen. They are the critters that are most commonly called daddy long-legs in the U.S (in my experience). It also fits with what Tomar said about DLL not being true spiders and not having segmented bodies, both of which are true about Opiliones but not about Pholcidae.

53:52 just if anyone is interested, reason most likely is on its own plane and not painted on is because objects likes walls/trim sheets and alot of others just share single textures and UV maps so you cant paint on them unless every tile of the wall would say "stark sucks" so to keep the cost of textures down in games, unless its something specific most of the time Alphas are used in place too cut cost and makes the object cheap to use! (not money wise memory wise) The flying off the wall can be due too the alpha clipping so it gets moved slightly away from the wall, its not obvious so most of the time is not an issue, obviously there is tons of other reasons but this is what i assume and seen in tons of games. I know Chris jokingly explained it, but thought maybe a single person might find the explanation interesting, back to my cave.

The total main cutscenes altogether in this game average around 2 - 3 hours, but its badly dragged out but 40+ grindy hours of gameplay I've heard that badly pads it out. I don't blame them for dropping it, as cringe and shit the story was I'd have loved to see them react to it seems like a slog to play for so long since it repeats itself.

The end mission was really good, but everything leading up to it was a pain and the ending was beyond boring. The last phase of the final boss fight was just a lazy, stale, brain dead QTE fest that lasted 15 seconds. What a let down all around.
The best part of this whole series is that they got so annoyed that they switched the game and recorded that instead. I think that’s a first for this channel.

1:23:40 they are referring to crane flies and spiders of the Pholcidae family. Both are commonly known as " daddy long-legs". Crane flies are completely harmless in their adult stage and they don't eat mosquito or any other insect for that matter. Most species don't eat at all , some sip the nectar of flowers . Pholcidae spiders are actually very useful since they kill other, more dangerous, spiders( and many other pests). They are harmless to humans although some species may start oscillating violently when they are afraid, which could be scary.
If I had to guess, Zach and Tomar were probably not referring to Pholcidae spiders but to Opiliones, also commonly called harvestmen. They are the critters that are most commonly called daddy long-legs in the U.S (in my experience). It also fits with what Tomar said about DLL not being true spiders and not having segmented bodies, both of which are true about Opiliones but not about Pholcidae.
I think I've watched this playthrough in its entirety more than any other Oneyplays video combined.

53:52 just if anyone is interested, reason most likely is on its own plane and not painted on is because objects likes walls/trim sheets and alot of others just share single textures and UV maps so you cant paint on them unless every tile of the wall would say "stark sucks" so to keep the cost of textures down in games, unless its something specific most of the time Alphas are used in place too cut cost and makes the object cheap to use! (not money wise memory wise)
The flying off the wall can be due too the alpha clipping so it gets moved slightly away from the wall, its not obvious so most of the time is not an issue, obviously there is tons of other reasons but this is what i assume and seen in tons of games.

We all knew they were deranged, but now I'm kinda worried.
The total main cutscenes altogether in this game average around 2 - 3 hours, but its badly dragged out but 40+ grindy hours of gameplay I've heard that badly pads it out. I don't blame them for dropping it, as cringe and shit the story was I'd have loved to see them react to it seems like a slog to play for so long since it repeats itself.
It was actually entertaining right up until they realized they were just playing a procedurally generated soulless cashgrab and not the setpiece-driven story game they thought it was. You can literally hear the crushing realization in Chris's voice when they get past the 2 hour mark, it's sad
