But I do have to admit, sitting here in the Deep South where it is already 90 degrees F (& humidity is creeping up) I have to chuckle every time you say "summer shawl" or "summer anything" made from yarn that is not 100% cotton or rayon/cotton blend.

And now it's got me thinking of making something similar, maybe even a full on cardigan (which might be a closer to fall project for me since I already have 7 ish wips I'm in the middle of) using a yarn that's actually black and that glow in the dark yarn for the ghosts, or, the idea just popped into my head as I was writing this comment, doing like a moon and stars and kind of creating like a night sky or something

have you ever tried felting your ends together?? it saves you from weaving in ends and you can't even tell where one yarn ends and another begins love the shrug by the way lol it's so cute!!

Today I discovered that the socks I was knitting were two sizes too small for my kid… i got all the way to knitting the foot when I realized that. 😩 so I decided to take a break and make a granny square cardigan for the first time. 😅
