It's true that active stabilisation "on" will penalise you with substantial cropping, and active stabilisation "off" will be shaky... but the ZV E10 also records gyro data for use with Catalyst Browse (software that comes free with the ZV E10), where users can decide the extent of the compromise on this spectrum. Users can opt for a low crop factor for a little stabilisation, or higher crop factor for more stabilisation. This does take considerable processing time in post though.
If you were to purchase the ZV-E10, you're already saving yourself time. When and if you upgrade to a semi or even professional camera, Sony's ecosystem all use the same lens mount.

Kindly compare with the canon m50. Also would it be better to buy a sigma 16mm for m50 or just buy this camera as they have similar cost. Thanks.
