Your company will usually provide guidance on how to set this up. I don’t think you can just do it yourself. I have used and worked at 2 companies and the setup was different at both.

Unfortunately, I suspect that a huge number of people are like me: we own our own work profile because we use a custom domain for GSuite (or whatever that product is called today). All this work profile stuff is just a disaster that gets in the way, and it's not clear how to essentially make it vanish.

Do you need a google workspace to have a work profile? We’re on office 365 and I can’t figure this out

I got "shelter" from the third party "Fdroid" app store that let me open a work profile...if your company is on 365 the Microsoft intune company portal app will also let you in my experience

Unless your phone gets hacked and the work profile gains control over your phone! My phone is no longer mine but run by some scammer who has more contol over my phone now that he/she/it made a work profile
