Configuring and Using a Google Work Profile on Android

This screencast is meant to help those of you (ICT 1110 and ICT 3020) struggling to participate in our scheduled Google Hangouts Meet video meetings during the recess period when teaching and learning will be conducted online [1, 2].
An increasing number of other educational institutions, including The University of Zambia [3], are beginning to make use of the G Suite for Education platform [4]. However, when using a mobile device running Android, this involves configuring more than one Google account: typically a personal Google account and enterprise/work account.
An easy and effective way of using a personal Google account and an enterprise/work account on your devices involves the use of Work Profiles---available on Android 5.0 Lollipop or later device [5].
This screencast is a quick walkthrough showcasing how to configure and use Work Profiles.

But this is logging into the mail already made right? ... which means, u need a normal google account first and then u can use it to make it a work profile???? Pls do reply.
How to remove or uninstall this blue briefcase app
Go to ur settings, and then search for device admin apps, then click on deactivate on those particular apps. Hope this is useful! Reply if u tried!
10:33 Currently I’m using my work gmail acct on my note 20 along w/ personal. But no “blue briefcase” for anything work related. To get work emails, I go to gmail and swipe down on my acct icon (upper right of gmail) and it switches accounts to other email....and this goes for all other apps.
Is this wrong, and what is main feature of work profile that is better than this? Never had option to create work profile when added my work g,mail; so I’m just overwhelmed and confused now 🤣
Same brother. Running android 10 on my oneplus 7t. Have just been able to add the work email and the only way it manifests is by clicking on the drop down on Google apps. No such profile/briefcase icon/etc. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or I misconfigured something or if the company hasn't enabled something on their end.

Im having a hard time understanding you words. I have to keep rewind the video and look at close caption. It's not helping. Something is wrong with my Google account and it's just keeps getting worse. Hey bro , go to settings and then go to dual apps their u will see a option that remove or delete dual apps, click on that and then again try to set up ur profile. It will work.

This screencast was created for students at The University of Zambia (UNZA). UNZA-assigned email is a domain-specific email address.
Replace/substitute UNZA with your domain. For instance, if you work for organisation X, it would be X-assigned email address.
Is “Work Profile” a Samsung Phone feature; or a Google OS feature?
Also, you show how to uncheck the box, but I don’t have that box and I’m on One UI 3.1 & Android 11.
Lastly, if “do” create a “work profile”....how does one “remove” work profile or convert personal to work profile, etc...
Gotta tell ya, Samsung Phones with: MS Acct, Google Acct, Samsung Acct; and all “their” apps....is getting really really convoluted and “bloated”. Not “simple” at all, and YES, do like Android features that iOS doesn’t “give/have/provide”, but Android on Samsung Phones w/ One UI skin HAS GOTTEN so bad, after my note 20 quits getting updates, may jump ship to iOS. Can’t believe I said that 🤦🏼
