I was 11 at that time and I'm 19 now, still can't forget what happened seeing thousands of dead bodies on the streets, losing friends, the fear and etc.

It feels just like yesterday.. it was terrifying especially that the eye landed on our island,it started midnight and became stronger and stronger and suddenly probably afternoon it stopped for a minute, but it stopped bc we were inside the eye of the typhoon ,and then not long it became even stronger.. I was 8 years old at the time ,my friends family knocked at our door to seek shelter but we didn't hear anything cuz we were at the kitchen hiding... After the typhoon I went to my friends house but guess what they don't have one.. typhoons happen alot in the Philippines that's why after every typhoon me and my friends would walk around the island and trying to get through trees and roof's that covered the roads..

I was 3 yrs old when typhoon Haiyan hit our city, it broke off a tree and the winds are soo strong you cannot even recognize it as a typhoon or it felt like a nuclear blast

Experiencing Haiyan's Eye of the Storm on broad daylight was a very weird experience.
The winds and rain smashed our house and then silence. No strong winds nor rain.
There was even sunlight as it hit us around 11 am.

Pumapaskk din Yung tubig ulan at mga dahon . Napunta pa nga sa Mukha ko 😑😑 habang nakahiga Ako at pinakikinggan Yung huni Ng hangin at bagyo . Nakikiramdam Ako that time. @@WorldwideTopTier There's different between that two but the both of them are the same weather phenomenon. In North Atlantic, central North Pacific, and eastern North Pacific, the term hurricane is used. In the same type of turbulence in the Northwest Pacific is called a typhoon. But Typhoons are more stronger than Hurricanes, due to warmer waters in the western Pacific creating better conditions for the formation of a storm, even the wind severity in a typhoon is stronger than that of a hurricane but they cause somewhat less loss due to their location.
