WOW you will enjoy seeing her live, what a treat... she is wonderful and from near my neck of the woods...... You must try to say hello to Sarah , she WILL adore you for doing so
I saw her at my 'local', the Blackpool Opera House a few years ago. She was so funny and sharp. Get ticking them days off the calendar, you'll both love her ❤👍x
I've only recently discovered your channel and what a breath of fresh air. I'm a brit and no offence, you guys are so down to earth and... dare I say normal... 🤣 Love the channel
"Flower" is a common term of endearment in Northeast England, where Sarah is from. You'll hear her call people "Pet" or "Petal" a lot, too. Another great comedian from the same part of the world - and with a similar Geordie accent - is Ross Noble. As far as what love feels like, there's a great lyric from a song by New Zealand band The Mutton Birds: "I showed you round, forgetting when to breathe, and that's still the way I feel when I watch you while you sleep."
She’s from my area of the UK and we call everyone luv, pet, or flower. I’m so happy you understand her accent. It’s called a Geordie accent and at one time, it wasn’t allowed on television. Everyone on TV had to speak the queens English. Thank God that people hear it now and love it. I’m proud to be a Geordie, we have a reputation for being warm, friendly and caring.
My niece and I are from the UK and live in Bulls Gap in East TN. We will be there to see Sarah in Nashville. She is one of our favorites! We will look out for you 🙂
Great reaction Mike and Jess. For sure Sarah Millican is a brilliant and such a funny comedian. I know you guys will have a fantastic time when you go to see her in Nashville. By the way, you two give me butterflies. 🦋🦋🦋
Hi Mike & Jess, great reaction. So pleased that you will see her live next year. You may want to have a look at her husband, Gary Delaney, well funny and worth a watch 🙂
G'day Guys! Greetings from Australia, OZ , my sister and I have been to Sarah's last two tours down here and will be seeing the new show in February... She is always just was hilarious as in these videos! BTW "Flower" is a common term used in the North of England and can be used for blokes was well as ladies... Cheers!
Flower is normally a term of endearment spoken by people from the north east of England (like Sarah). My mum used to say it all the time, she would call my wife flower every time she was on the phone to her. I usually addresss my wife by pet and sometimes flower.too.
Aww, you two are so cute! I agree with Mike, the butterflies can be misleading. My hubs is perfect for me because me never makes me nervous, knows I hate surprises, and makes me feel calm and content. I think sometimes people want that nervous exited energy to last forever in a relationship and that's not healthy. Quiet nights enjoying each other's silence and your own hobbies is where the day to day love truly thrives.
Love is a sense of belonging for me. Belonging to something that is greater than one self. Love is that, Belonging some where with some other person that is not your own self doubts and hates. Belonging.
Terms of endearment here in the UK: Pet Love Flower Petal Poppet Duck Dear Rose Treacle There's probably loads more, but you get the picture, we have loads of affectionate terms. Great post guys. 😂
U both totally get her, I wonder if she Americanises her stuff when she does her 2025 EPIC US tour this year or is just herself, she is doing April til Dec with 3 separate month breaks so I guess she is pretty big out there which I bloody love !!
The terms of endearment " Love " and " Flower " are very common in Yorkshire and the Northeast of England . That's because we're very friendly people. We're also piss taking bastards too! 😂
WHAT?! No seriously! I'm from the UK and even I've been there, done that, got the T-shirt, got the hat, you should definitely go and stream the holiday, make it a special
Hi again Both, here's another commedienne for you to try, Nina Conti. Nina is a ventriloquist with a pet monkey and has other funny props to help her. Do take a look! Cheers, from across the pond!
Also Jess, words the British use to call each other (dependent on where you live in the UK aka regional terms of endearment): Luv (love), Pet (petal), Flower, Darlin'/Darling, Duck, Hun (Honey), Dear, Sweetheart, Babe/Babes, Treasure.
The wife and I have clocked up 20 years now. Our relationship wad different at 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, and now. The longer we spend together, the deeper our feelings get.
Sarah is from my home town and I’ve met her couple of times back stage at gigs, if I see her I’m going to point this video out to her see if she’ll point you out? 😂
Great reaction video, guys! But please be aware (if you aren't already) ..... when Sarah refers to a "throbbing fanny" ... she's not talking about a 'throbbing tush' ...... 'fanny' in the UK is the 'front bottom' 😮😂🤣😂
Hi you two. I know you enjoyed reviewing Queen a while back. Try Queen - Hammersmith Odeon, London - Lap of the Gods. Its a TV broadcast from Christmas Eve that was shown live on BBC2 in the 70's - From around the Night of the Opera / Bohemian Rapsody era - Enjoy
I would love it if you could react to fenwick christmas window 2020 usually there's a crowd waiting to see it but it was covid. It shows previous windows over the years and almost everything is animatronic, fenwick is pronounced fenick the 'w' is silent. My auntie used to be part of the team that put the window together, please take a look at it.
The wife and I have been married 48 years next year, people ask what we put that down to and I always say , Neither of us wanted custody of the kids. lol, not true really I love her to bits.
Love you both and love Sarah ❤️ As you mentioned seeing her live and as you have now reacted to her a few times , it's obvious that audience participation is a thing Sarah welcomes and jokes with but are American audiences likely to be as vocal as the English ones ? Was just curious. Keep laughing stay healthy love from Northern Ireland ❤
There are a lot of comics that feed off of the audience engagement here in the US, but there are a lot of comics that also hate it when the audience chimes in.
Love is a wonderful thing! I remember it well! But that was in the past! I am now divorced! It all started to go wrong when I turned up with a baseball cap on back to front! It went downhill from there!😂
My “love feeling” when I MET my wife, was as Mike was trying to explain but couldn’t - you just know! Now it’s knowing that I can be myself, no fakery…
Just been to see her ourselves assuming she does the same thing in US you'll be able to collect a badge with a saying or words used in show have 2 now with Flower and Eager Beaver on lol
I think for guys you know you're in love when you just know you would take that bullet for her - although, and I've asked a lot of them, very few women would seem to do the same.
Throbbing Fanny! Fanny has a different meaning for us Brits! 🤣🤣🤣
I want people to tell Sarah that you're coming to the show. Your faces if she picked you out (Jess' in particular), would be priceless.
✌️🏴🇬🇧
WOW you will enjoy seeing her live, what a treat... she is wonderful and from near my neck of the woods...... You must try to say hello to Sarah , she WILL adore you for doing so
You two are great! Jess's laugh is the best 😆 Enjoy your comedy show next year!
Mike , totally agree with you, Jess is the wife we all dream of finding, for you the dream has come true, lucky you 😍x
I saw her at my 'local', the Blackpool Opera House a few years ago. She was so funny and sharp. Get ticking them days off the calendar, you'll both love her ❤👍x
Please review Sarah's 'life of a cat mam' - I've watched it a hundred times and still cry with laughter 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've only recently discovered your channel and what a breath of fresh air.
I'm a brit and no offence, you guys are so down to earth and... dare I say normal... 🤣
Love the channel
Thanks

❤ from Northeast England ❤️
You two are so adorable!
NIce one, I'm sure you'll have a great time watching Sarah live.
Nice to hear you got to see her. It just takes a bit of time, but great you bought tickets. Fun night out.
So exciting you are going to see her on tour! I missed seeing this last one.
I'm from South Shields I haven't had the chance to see her but I love her she's the best at what she does xxxx
As you can tell, we love her. So real.XX
Call her a sanddancer if you meet her 😂 It’s not nasty 😂 it’s what people are called from South Shields 👍
You guys are going to have a blast.
I thought that a Floridian was someone who used toothpaste
Great reaction Mike and Jess. For sure Sarah Millican is a brilliant and such a funny comedian. I know you guys will have a fantastic time when you go to see her in Nashville. By the way, you two give me butterflies. 🦋🦋🦋
I saw her in Brighton a few weeks ago - excellent, you're gonna love it
I love her calling people 'flower' and 'pet'. It's a northern thing. Here in the Midlands we say ' me duck', 'love' and 'chuck'.
Welsh valleys is "My lovely!"
So much fun! I'm sure you guys will have a ball of a time next year!
Brilliant, thanks guys!
You two are so generous ❤
I just love watching you guys ❤
Hi Mike & Jess, great reaction. So pleased that you will see her live next year. You may want to have a look at her husband, Gary Delaney, well funny and worth a watch 🙂

Great post guys. 😂
For some reason I call all animals and pets "Sausage" 😂
As a Geordie, I will add Bonny Lad and Bonny Lass
A strange one where I'm from is c *ck, it's a generational thing but I've definitely heard it used.
A neighbour calls me hinny, a term not used much these days
What happened to "twinkle"?😊
Do Sarah's muckiest jokes and trip to the spa. Please keep the Sarah's videos coming
Love you Guys xx
Enjoyed this one guys! thank You!
When she said Bairn that’s a North England term for very young child.
She is such an icon
U both totally get her, I wonder if she Americanises her stuff when she does her 2025 EPIC US tour this year or is just herself, she is doing April til Dec with 3 separate month breaks so I guess she is pretty big out there which I bloody love !!
Hey Mike, are you 'Florida man' that we always read about getting into trouble?🤣great stuff you two, thanks✌️
I'm a changed man, but in my younger years I was most definitely that guy 😅
@RNTV 🤣🤣Even here in the UK, we occasionally see those 'Florida man' stories, not as much now. It's good to see you're on the right track now🤣✌️
Ohhhh.... you were head over heels when you met. Sweeeeeet
GROW UP! 😂

Mike is morphing into Bob Mortimer
Wow you will have a great time
I bought my Daughter 2 tickets for her B`day last year to see Sarah 2 weeks ago here in the UK, at the last minute she couldn`t go due to illness.!!!!
Hi again Both, here's another commedienne for you to try, Nina Conti. Nina is a ventriloquist with a pet monkey and has other funny props to help her. Do take a look! Cheers, from across the pond!
I saw her a couple of years ago and she was brilliantly funny. The few men there were terrified, including my husband
Also Jess, words the British use to call each other (dependent on where you live in the UK aka regional terms of endearment):
Luv (love), Pet (petal), Flower, Darlin'/Darling, Duck, Hun (Honey), Dear, Sweetheart, Babe/Babes, Treasure.
Here in the North East of England (where Sarah is from) 'flower' and 'pet' are normal expressions.
She's from the north. It's quite common to be called flower, etc.
The guy she must be talking about is Gary Delaney ! Another English comedian who’s very funny ! She’s been with him for quite a few years
The wife and I have clocked up 20 years now. Our relationship wad different at 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, and now. The longer we spend together, the deeper our feelings get.
Not only is she brutally funny she really knows how to work the audience!😅
Thr Ryman Auditorium is the home of the former home of The Grand Old Opry. beloved of Country and Bluegrass musicians everywhere.
Gteat stuff guyssssss😁
Sarah is from my home town and I’ve met her couple of times back stage at gigs, if I see her I’m going to point this video out to her see if she’ll point you out? 😂
u guys need to vlog that and then do your own reaction video on your vlog 😃
my wife and l 52 years married
Great reaction video, guys! But please be aware (if you aren't already) ..... when Sarah refers to a "throbbing fanny" ... she's not talking about a 'throbbing tush' ...... 'fanny' in the UK is the 'front bottom' 😮😂🤣😂
@Jess Alright flower⁉️😆♥️🇬🇧
She also calls people "pet," 😉
Which is also goerdie :)

Flower is a Northern term for greets or bye , thought it was a yorkshire saying , like i have deep pockets and short arms ie im a tight bastard lol
Hi folks, Sarah lives near the River Tyne (Geordies), so expect to be called many things including love, flowea, pet, hinney (honey).
Butterflies then praying mantis. Good times.
❤
The wife and I have been married 48 years next year, people ask what we put that down to and I always say , Neither of us wanted custody of the kids. lol, not true really I love her to bits.
When she's open to the idea of a Blumpkin, you know you've found the one.
Knoxville Girl by the Louvin Brothers. Great record. Very dark but brilliant.
Love you both and love Sarah ❤️
As you mentioned seeing her live and as you have now reacted to her a few times , it's obvious that audience participation is a thing Sarah welcomes and jokes with but are American audiences likely to be as vocal as the English ones ? There are a lot of comics that feed off of the audience engagement here in the US, but there are a lot of comics that also hate it when the audience chimes in.
If you know anyone else who likes her then remind them it's next year. She has been repeatedly announcing on her twitter that it's not this year
Or the feelings of butterflies can occur when you have swallowed too many caterpillars lol
Love is a wonderful thing! I remember it well! But that was in the past! I am now divorced! It all started to go wrong when I turned up with a baseball cap on back to front! It went downhill from there!😂
You need to react to her husband Gary Delaney. He is just as good as her.
North East saying. Flower, pet, petal, hinny. My parents were Geordies.
When you get to my age you no longer get butterflies, it feels more like mothballs👴
It feels like, shit here we go again😅
Her husband is Gary Delaney if you havent checked him out your missing out as hes hilarious too
Pet or Petal are also fairly widespread. Or Darling, Sweetheart, etc. Honey and Sugar are more American.
I could get to Tennessee in about 11 hours. Have you moved to the UK? 😂
To start with it’s not love, it’s lust Love takes time to develop
My “love feeling” when I MET my wife, was as Mike was trying to explain but couldn’t - you just know! Now it’s knowing that I can be myself, no fakery…
… swearing at one another too, in a friendly way 😂😂😂😂
Love. Flower. Pet. Very Northern
Just been to see her ourselves assuming she does the same thing in US you'll be able to collect a badge with a saying or words used in show have 2 now with Flower and Eager Beaver on lol
I used to get the butterflies but now having i.b.s it's a toss up between love or a prelude to the shits
Most people who are from the North East call each other everything other than their actual name. Pet, flower, love, mate etc
In general, female comedians don't make me laugh much, but Sarah Millican certainly does! Good to see you both enjoying her comedy too.
I think for guys you know you're in love when you just know you would take that bullet for her - although, and I've asked a lot of them, very few women would seem to do the same.
As for signs of love, my heart skips a beat when she appears.
