Spirit Weapons will take some of your HP to get more damage, imagine Juggernaut in the future with Vampirism and Spirit Weapons. You just steal their health with vamp and convert it into more damage, would be even better if you could imbue fighting styles/magics into spirit weapons, however not likely.
They be pullin' a Chainsaw man, a fucking perpetual motion machine.

I have been a knight since the release of the game. After using the brewing update stat reset I stayed loyal to vitality, but my patience is drained.
I will strangle vetex someday for his attitude towards vitality.
He literally made 1/4 of the builds unplayable on damn purpose, and not even giving vitality builds some sort of a buff before spirit weapons are released.
NOT TO MENTION that he placed spirit weapons to be one of the latest updates to be made, handicapping the poor players for like a year or so.
Even with all that I'm not done cause there is a bajillion reasons not to play as a vitality build:
1. You literally don't gain more max energy if you invest into vitality. (that way, as a 120v 130w knight i ended up with 360 energy instead of the usual 600)
P.S. - in the brewing update pre-release balance patches it was considered to give vitality the long promised energy, yet it didn't make it into the game.
2. If you were to invest 100 points in vitality you would just get 400 extra hp at the cost of DEALING 20% LESS DAMAGE and MISSING OUT ON HALF OF YOUR PURE COUNTERPART'S MOVESET.
You could say "sure I'll sacrifice allat for some health" but then see a warlord who invested 0 points into vitality and yet he still has more hp than you which seems to be your speciality rather than his.
the moment i get an interchange potion i will end my miserable hours as a knight and become like a savant or something cause this is unberable

Juggernauts and mages actually get to customize their moves and allat aswell as having second slots for either a fighting style or a magic (paladins also can use magic jumps which are great mobility, weapon mobility just doesnt work out of combat)
And knights are limited to only 6 moves
@@ffineful juggernauts and mages are limited to 4 moves cause second tiers are so awful, and weapon users just have better moves. Also your argument about mobility is awful since we’re discussing pvp, not climbing mount othrys 😹
you know i feel like vetex should NOT balance vitality around weapons that ARE NOT EVEN IN THE GAME,like why does it not only nerf damage but also decresses max energy
Once came across a Explosion Conjurer. To say the Area was leveled would be a understatement.
The best builds are off-meta with magics and fighting styles that don’t mix. (For max fun)
I assume that savant will gonna take over the world, just wait until the more future late game. Its like we wait for the beast comes out in thousand years...

Ik a savant build that let's you use argo's weapons a little
95 str 95 wep and 60 mag
oh and here is a build taht should be busted once we get the conjuere/warlock abilities on savant

And since I can punch with Sailor Style + Weapons, I might switch to Magma (and deem myself as a Continent Walker, lol)

in the future, "vampirism" is said to be a new fighting style; you heal when you deal damage
now imagine a tank that heals everytime it attacks something in your vicinity
I think juggernaut is going to be an insane build in the future
very very far in the future tho cause vamp would be a lost fighting style, not sure if jugg can even get it

I dont think any amount of meta build would help me with the amount of skill issue i have. I could throw a max size explosion and still miss whoever im attacking.

hard disagree on warrior being meta (atleast rn), is the most easy to predict, the moment the oponent sees ur weapon, they know ur next moves, they can parry you and punish you, i dont get how you guys even struggle with warrior
Its because Warrior has no end lag on most of its moves while, lets say mages for example, have end lag on every single move.
Did they nerf ethereal flash's casting time? I swear it was like, instant
a) Best mobility in the game with vindicator + tp move + grab move with guaranteed follow-up, forcing you to block and get free damage on yourself, or lose anywhere between 500-1000 hp trying to punish the warrior.
b) Best 'imbuement' on weapons, being 1.1x stat modifier in everything. Ever heard of thermo warlords? Well, warriors have almost double the aoe and even more damage with same speed, while not even caring about these thermo/sailor meters.
c) Universal. Unlike ranged mages and close-range berserkers, these guys can beat the crap out of you at any distance, changing the weapons mid-combat if required. And even if not, setups like Triasta + Vindi + Staff are very hard to counter.
d) They can parry as well, since all classes are actuall predictable. If mage, you'll expect placed explosions and beams, if berserker, you'll expect shots and crashes.
And the fun part is, that didn't change at all ever. Only thing warriors got nerfed is triasta, but otherwise they stayed completely same, being absolute meta right from pulsar nerf.
imagine in future updates when the level cup goes up conjurers using ultimate arts, pulsar, magic shape, vindicator, ravenna greatsword, and the king calvus trident
I love vitality builds because I don't die to a single half-charged calvus attack with BS hitboxes.

@@Wats_Plays I think the hint I read is wrong because it said that if you put everything on fighting or weapon or even magic it just same damage in your level if you don't put it and it says when you put everything it just your knowledge of that stat you put increase not the damage itself

Accuracy is not needed for mage i swear to god i shot my beam in the air towards the sun while my opponent was underground and i still hit him

I dread the thought of the day they add ancient Magic’s and someone with a hybrid strength/magic build can get Prometheus flame exclusively cause infusing cannon fist while throwing arcanium cannon balls both of which infused with Prometheus flame sounds horrifying

@@scratchingcatclaw I know that most ancient magics supposedly will be usable for example from what I’ve read before certain changes on the Trello I’m inferring that vetexs personal ancient magic Aether lightning will be attainable as an ancient magic in AO however even if it is it’s likely heavy late game and possibly only usable by pure mages at which point this build becomes impossible anyways this is just kinda theoretical in nature assuming it’s usable by non pure mages as long as they’re not savant

Fair enough I’m really just going off what was listed before edits and by AA logic I’d have to agree but simultaneously by that same logic one could also assume that they are both then cause sea curses are objects that make one essentially the essence of the element it’s kinda like saying you are the element itself versus just wielding it so perhaps there is an actual magic for it and the sea curse is just the only form we’ve ever seen implemented or used
Either way I can’t say much it’s way too early in the game and the odds of me or most other people even being able to accurately state for sure we know what goes on in vetexs brain feels so out of it for me but it still sounds like an interesting concept too me even just in reference to other ancients and lost Magic’s cause arcanium cannon balls with infused cannon fist could be insane

Idk what about y’all,but I’m a mage,and some say that magic is slow,well then just get a javelin spell and spam it , and it has good range,that thing crossed mount Othris for god’s sake,and it deals good damage

I'd like to think that conjuerer also takes skill to use as if your good enough or are using a viable fast magic you can use your magic as well as your weapons so you don't need to use things like staffs to make up for the range, however this really only applies if your good.

I use no magic cowboy build. It relies on swiftness, power, and bursting. With defense being the base defense you get from armor. Killed 3 ship fleets and won a 1v1 against a good fighting style frost mage hybrid. Weapos are swift old musket, bursting bronze dual flintlocks, and powerful old flintlock. So much DAMAGE

@@cosmicchad4752 crystal so I get very little damage taken off when imbued and that I can get the crystallised effect which synergises with bleed (weather that's working or not Idk mor bleed synergy is broken)

These kids… there’s nothing wrong with using meta. What meta. means is using the best possible armor currently, and there’s nothing wrong with that, you can still use meta and still look cool, you can just hide your armor and replace it with something cool looking. there’s literally nothing wrong with using meta you’re just trying to be as strong as possible,

Bro my stat build is:
30 - vitality
100 - magic
20 - strength
100 - weapons
my savant build is 80 magic (fire and acid), 100 strength (thermofist) 10 vitality (because why not), and 60 in weapon (so i can get 130with next levels)
next levels arent coming for a while so you should probably rework that when the stat reset potion drops

Keep in mind other builds will also get much stronger, so if everything is strong, there's no god tier

that's pretty normal damage, it's just that rapid fire has ridiculous damage.

I have a 3.4 k HP build even after the nerfs to Aura. It can still do 200 damage too.
